The Rules of Pacers Digest

Hello everyone,

Whether your are a long standing forum member or whether you have just registered today, it's a good idea to read and review the rules below so that you have a very good idea of what to expect when you come to Pacers Digest.

A quick note to new members: Your posts will not immediately show up when you make them. An administrator has to approve at least your first post before the forum software will later upgrade your account to the status of a fully-registered member. This usually happens within a couple of hours or so after your post(s) is/are approved, so you may need to be a little patient at first.

Why do we do this? So that it's more difficult for spammers (be they human or robot) to post, and so users who are banned cannot immediately re-register and start dousing people with verbal flames.

Below are the rules of Pacers Digest. After you have read them, you will have a very good sense of where we are coming from, what we expect, what we don't want to see, and how we react to things.

Rule #1

Pacers Digest is intended to be a place to discuss basketball without having to deal with the kinds of behaviors or attitudes that distract people from sticking with the discussion of the topics at hand. These unwanted distractions can come in many forms, and admittedly it can sometimes be tricky to pin down each and every kind that can rear its ugly head, but we feel that the following examples and explanations cover at least a good portion of that ground and should at least give people a pretty good idea of the kinds of things we actively discourage:

"Anyone who __________ is a liar / a fool / an idiot / a blind homer / has their head buried in the sand / a blind hater / doesn't know basketball / doesn't watch the games"

"People with intelligence will agree with me when I say that __________"

"Only stupid people think / believe / do ___________"

"I can't wait to hear something from PosterX when he/she sees that **insert a given incident or current event that will have probably upset or disappointed PosterX here**"

"He/she is just delusional"

"This thread is stupid / worthless / embarrassing"

"I'm going to take a moment to point and / laugh at PosterX / GroupOfPeopleY who thought / believed *insert though/belief here*"

"Remember when PosterX said OldCommentY that no longer looks good? "

In general, if a comment goes from purely on topic to something 'ad hominem' (personal jabs, personal shots, attacks, flames, however you want to call it, towards a person, or a group of people, or a given city/state/country of people), those are most likely going to be found intolerable.

We also dissuade passive aggressive behavior. This can be various things, but common examples include statements that are basically meant to imply someone is either stupid or otherwise incapable of holding a rational conversation. This can include (but is not limited to) laughing at someone's conclusions rather than offering an honest rebuttal, asking people what game they were watching, or another common problem is Poster X will say "that player isn't that bad" and then Poster Y will say something akin to "LOL you think that player is good". We're not going to tolerate those kinds of comments out of respect for the community at large and for the sake of trying to just have an honest conversation.

Now, does the above cover absolutely every single kind of distraction that is unwanted? Probably not, but you should by now have a good idea of the general types of things we will be discouraging. The above examples are meant to give you a good feel for / idea of what we're looking for. If something new or different than the above happens to come along and results in the same problem (that being, any other attitude or behavior that ultimately distracts from actually just discussing the topic at hand, or that is otherwise disrespectful to other posters), we can and we will take action to curb this as well, so please don't take this to mean that if you managed to technically avoid saying something exactly like one of the above examples that you are then somehow off the hook.

That all having been said, our goal is to do so in a generally kind and respectful way, and that doesn't mean the moment we see something we don't like that somebody is going to be suspended or banned, either. It just means that at the very least we will probably say something about it, quite possibly snipping out the distracting parts of the post in question while leaving alone the parts that are actually just discussing the topics, and in the event of a repeating or excessive problem, then we will start issuing infractions to try to further discourage further repeat problems, and if it just never seems to improve, then finally suspensions or bans will come into play. We would prefer it never went that far, and most of the time for most of our posters, it won't ever have to.

A slip up every once and a while is pretty normal, but, again, when it becomes repetitive or excessive, something will be done. Something occasional is probably going to be let go (within reason), but when it starts to become habitual or otherwise a pattern, odds are very good that we will step in.

There's always a small minority that like to push people's buttons and/or test their own boundaries with regards to the administrators, and in the case of someone acting like that, please be aware that this is not a court of law, but a private website run by people who are simply trying to do the right thing as they see it. If we feel that you are a special case that needs to be dealt with in an exceptional way because your behavior isn't explicitly mirroring one of our above examples of what we generally discourage, we can and we will take atypical action to prevent this from continuing if you are not cooperative with us.

Also please be aware that you will not be given a pass simply by claiming that you were 'only joking,' because quite honestly, when someone really is just joking, for one thing most people tend to pick up on the joke, including the person or group that is the target of the joke, and for another thing, in the event where an honest joke gets taken seriously and it upsets or angers someone, the person who is truly 'only joking' will quite commonly go out of his / her way to apologize and will try to mend fences. People who are dishonest about their statements being 'jokes' do not do so, and in turn that becomes a clear sign of what is really going on. It's nothing new.

In any case, quite frankly, the overall quality and health of the entire forum's community is more important than any one troublesome user will ever be, regardless of exactly how a problem is exhibiting itself, and if it comes down to us having to make a choice between you versus the greater health and happiness of the entire community, the community of this forum will win every time.

Lastly, there are also some posters, who are generally great contributors and do not otherwise cause any problems, who sometimes feel it's their place to provoke or to otherwise 'mess with' that small minority of people described in the last paragraph, and while we possibly might understand why you might feel you WANT to do something like that, the truth is we can't actually tolerate that kind of behavior from you any more than we can tolerate the behavior from them. So if we feel that you are trying to provoke those other posters into doing or saying something that will get themselves into trouble, then we will start to view you as a problem as well, because of the same reason as before: The overall health of the forum comes first, and trying to stir the pot with someone like that doesn't help, it just makes it worse. Some will simply disagree with this philosophy, but if so, then so be it because ultimately we have to do what we think is best so long as it's up to us.

If you see a problem that we haven't addressed, the best and most appropriate course for a forum member to take here is to look over to the left of the post in question. See underneath that poster's name, avatar, and other info, down where there's a little triangle with an exclamation point (!) in it? Click that. That allows you to report the post to the admins so we can definitely notice it and give it a look to see what we feel we should do about it. Beyond that, obviously it's human nature sometimes to want to speak up to the poster in question who has bothered you, but we would ask that you try to refrain from doing so because quite often what happens is two or more posters all start going back and forth about the original offending post, and suddenly the entire thread is off topic or otherwise derailed. So while the urge to police it yourself is understandable, it's best to just report it to us and let us handle it. Thank you!

All of the above is going to be subject to a case by case basis, but generally and broadly speaking, this should give everyone a pretty good idea of how things will typically / most often be handled.

Rule #2

If the actions of an administrator inspire you to make a comment, criticism, or express a concern about it, there is a wrong place and a couple of right places to do so.

The wrong place is to do so in the original thread in which the administrator took action. For example, if a post gets an infraction, or a post gets deleted, or a comment within a larger post gets clipped out, in a thread discussing Paul George, the wrong thing to do is to distract from the discussion of Paul George by adding your off topic thoughts on what the administrator did.

The right places to do so are:

A) Start a thread about the specific incident you want to talk about on the Feedback board. This way you are able to express yourself in an area that doesn't throw another thread off topic, and this way others can add their two cents as well if they wish, and additionally if there's something that needs to be said by the administrators, that is where they will respond to it.

B) Send a private message to the administrators, and they can respond to you that way.

If this is done the wrong way, those comments will be deleted, and if it's a repeating problem then it may also receive an infraction as well.

Rule #3

If a poster is bothering you, and an administrator has not or will not deal with that poster to the extent that you would prefer, you have a powerful tool at your disposal, one that has recently been upgraded and is now better than ever: The ability to ignore a user.

When you ignore a user, you will unfortunately still see some hints of their existence (nothing we can do about that), however, it does the following key things:

A) Any post they make will be completely invisible as you scroll through a thread.

B) The new addition to this feature: If someone QUOTES a user you are ignoring, you do not have to read who it was, or what that poster said, unless you go out of your way to click on a link to find out who it is and what they said.

To utilize this feature, from any page on Pacers Digest, scroll to the top of the page, look to the top right where it says 'Settings' and click that. From the settings page, look to the left side of the page where it says 'My Settings', and look down from there until you see 'Edit Ignore List' and click that. From here, it will say 'Add a Member to Your List...' Beneath that, click in the text box to the right of 'User Name', type in or copy & paste the username of the poster you are ignoring, and once their name is in the box, look over to the far right and click the 'Okay' button. All done!

Rule #4

Regarding infractions, currently they carry a value of one point each, and that point will expire in 31 days. If at any point a poster is carrying three points at the same time, that poster will be suspended until the oldest of the three points expires.

Rule #5

When you share or paste content or articles from another website, you must include the URL/link back to where you found it, who wrote it, and what website it's from. Said content will be removed if this doesn't happen.

An example:

If I copy and paste an article from the Indianapolis Star website, I would post something like this:

http://www.linktothearticlegoeshere.com/article
Title of the Article
Author's Name
Indianapolis Star

Rule #6

We cannot tolerate illegal videos on Pacers Digest. This means do not share any links to them, do not mention any websites that host them or link to them, do not describe how to find them in any way, and do not ask about them. Posts doing anything of the sort will be removed, the offenders will be contacted privately, and if the problem becomes habitual, you will be suspended, and if it still persists, you will probably be banned.

The legal means of watching or listening to NBA games are NBA League Pass Broadband (for US, or for International; both cost money) and NBA Audio League Pass (which is free). Look for them on NBA.com.

Rule #7

Provocative statements in a signature, or as an avatar, or as the 'tagline' beneath a poster's username (where it says 'Member' or 'Administrator' by default, if it is not altered) are an unwanted distraction that will more than likely be removed on sight. There can be shades of gray to this, but in general this could be something political or religious that is likely going to provoke or upset people, or otherwise something that is mean-spirited at the expense of a poster, a group of people, or a population.

It may or may not go without saying, but this goes for threads and posts as well, particularly when it's not made on the off-topic board (Market Square).

We do make exceptions if we feel the content is both innocuous and unlikely to cause social problems on the forum (such as wishing someone a Merry Christmas or a Happy Easter), and we also also make exceptions if such topics come up with regards to a sports figure (such as the Lance Stephenson situation bringing up discussions of domestic abuse and the law, or when Jason Collins came out as gay and how that lead to some discussion about gay rights).

However, once the discussion seems to be more/mostly about the political issues instead of the sports figure or his specific situation, the thread is usually closed.

Rule #8

We prefer self-restraint and/or modesty when making jokes or off topic comments in a sports discussion thread. They can be fun, but sometimes they derail or distract from a topic, and we don't want to see that happen. If we feel it is a problem, we will either delete or move those posts from the thread.

Rule #9

Generally speaking, we try to be a "PG-13" rated board, and we don't want to see sexual content or similarly suggestive content. Vulgarity is a more muddled issue, though again we prefer things to lean more towards "PG-13" than "R". If we feel things have gone too far, we will step in.

Rule #10

We like small signatures, not big signatures. The bigger the signature, the more likely it is an annoying or distracting signature.

Rule #11

Do not advertise anything without talking about it with the administrators first. This includes advertising with your signature, with your avatar, through private messaging, and/or by making a thread or post.

Pacers to acquire Armstrong from Mavs
Indiana to send Johnson to Dallas for veteran
    By Mike Wells

Anthony Johnson appears to be on his way to joining Austin Croshere in Dallas.

The Indiana Pacers are on the verge of finalizing a deal with the Mavericks for veteran point guard Darrell Armstrong in a sign-and-trade deal, according to people with knowledge of the situation. Mavericks forward Josh Powell is also believed to be involved in the trade. The deal is pending league approval, which could happen as early as Monday.

Johnson, who spent three seasons with the Pacers, was a steady contributor despite roles that ranged from third-string point guard to starter. He averaged 20.0 points, 5.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds while outplaying New Jersey's Jason Kidd in the Pacers' six-game, first-round playoff loss last season.

Trading Johnson, who said the team's "culture has to change" at the end of last season, avoids a point guard controversy with Jamaal Tinsley. Pacers president Larry Bird said Tinsley is "as good as you're going to get" if he is healthy in his season-ending news conference. Tinsley has battled injuries each of the past three seasons.

Sarunas Jasikevicius is also a candidate to be traded in the Pacers' crowded backcourt. Rookie James White and newly acquired Marquis Daniels can also play point guard.

The acquisition of Armstrong, a 13-year veteran, would give the Pacers a veteran voice in the locker room. He has averaged 10.1 points and 4.4 assists in his career. Powell, a rookie last season who went undrafted in 2003, averaged 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 37 games last season.
This is the second offseason trade for the Pacers, who sent Croshere to Dallas for Daniels.

Shooting guard Fred Jones could be the next Pacer traded. The Toronto Star reported today that Jones is headed to the Raptors. The deal could be finalized in the next couple of days.

Saras is a candidate to be traded? We're sticking with Tinsley?

I am befuddled. I hope Wells is just speculating.

As for the trade mentioned in the article, I'm still hoping that this was needed in order to bring Harrington here.

Nah...if MC were lurking he'd see the quality and buy out the site. Hicks and Able would be tooling around in their own TWIN Escalades and Hicks would never have to attend a class again the rest of his life.

Deal near on third point guard
              By Art Garcia
              Star-Telegram Staff Writer

The Mavericks are on the verge of filling their third point guard slot by trading for Indiana veteran Anthony Johnson, league sources confirmed Saturday night.

The Mavs are sending free-agent guard Darrell Armstrong and forwards Josh Powell and Rawle Marshall to the Pacers in a deal that has been agreed upon but can't be completed until NBA offices open Monday.
Johnson (6-foot-3, 200 pounds), a 10-year veteran, averaged a career-high 9.2 points and 4.3 assists last season, starting 53 games with the Pacers.

He averaged 20 points and 5.2 assists in six playoff games last season. Johnson, 31, has two years left on his contract for $2.64 million and $2.86 million.

Armstrong joined the Mavs during the 2004-05 season. As a free agent, he's agreed to a new contract to facilitate the sign-and-trade arrangement.

With a third point guard behind Jason Terry and Devin Harris settled, the next priority for the Mavs is adding another swingman or reserve power forward.

The Mavs have approximately $2 million remaining from the mid-level exception, a $1.75 million biennial exception and the ability to use Keith Van Horn in another sign-and-trade.

Among available swingmen, Devean George and Fred Jones could be in the team's price range. Power forward Reggie Evans is another option.

Well, that could be the reason the trade was made: for Rawle and Powell. Both are decent prospects who are athletic. Donnie probably saw a lot in them.

Like everyone said earlier in the offseason, we're going to be looking for those diamonds in the rough. These guys defintely both count as 'in the rough.' And we add leadership in Armstrong.

Also, Rawle and Powell have non-guaranteed contracts. Maybe we want Armstrong to retire, and then cut Rawle and Powell making this a simple money dump, for some reason. Why are we dumping money though.

                MAVERICKS NOTES

Forwards out to prove themselves this summer
                By ART GARCIA
                Star-Telegram Staff Writer
SALT LAKE CITY - Rawle Marshall and Josh Powell are feeling the pressure.

And they don't mind one bit.

Fresh off whirlwind rookie seasons, the former undrafted free-agent forwards have begun the early stages of Year Two on the summer league team and are uncertain whether their careers with the Mavericks will continue.

Both have nonguaranteed contracts for the upcoming season.
They aren't counting on last season being an inside track at sticking with the defending Western Conference champions.

"I've got a year under my belt and I'm trying to work on areas of my game," Marshall said Thursday night after the Mavs beat San Antonio 90-81 at the Rocky Mountain Revue.

"It was like this last year. I'm always trying to prove myself. Last summer, I was trying to get in this league. All I can ask for is a chance to play and show people what I can do."

Marshall, 24, played in 23 games last season, starting nine at small forward, while shuttling between the Mavs and D-League affiliate Fort Worth. Powell, a 23-year-old power forward, saw action in 37 games and, unlike Marshall, was on the playoff roster.

"No matter what the situation is, you've got to stay hungry," said Powell, who started and had four points and seven rebounds against the Spurs.

"I know sometimes it may not look like it, the stats may not show it, but I work on my game every day. I come to play and give it my all."

(SF) Rawle Marshall - OaklandDraft Projection: Second round

Positives: An athletic swingman with long arms, excellent athleticism, quickness and leaping ability. Has a silky smooth jumper that extends beyond the NBA three. Very versatile. A good ball handler who should be able to play some point forward in the pros. Long arms make him a tough on the ball defender.

Negatives: He's very thin, though he's added about 15 pounds since the end of school. Show under 30 percent from three this season. His basketball IQ is a little low. Takes a lot of unneccessary risks and poor shot selection.

Summary: He's a sleeper who has all the physical tools to succeed in the NBA. But does he have the head? Scouts will find out more in Chicago.

                      Strengths:
Marshall is an extremely long, lanky and athletic swingman from a small NCAA school who led his team into the NCAA tournament this year and gave his stock a tremendous boost in the process.

Physically, he has good size for the 2/3 position in the NBA at 6-7 and with a fantastic wingspan. He is a terrific athlete who possesses excellent quickness and body control and a very solid first step and vertical leap. In terms of raw tools, Marshall certainly fits the bill and has a big upside to improve.

Offensively, Marshall's team often relied almost exclusively on his ability to create his own shot from almost any situation. His ball-handling skills were good enough for the level he played at, and combined with his excellent first step he could get to the hole and finish strong simply by jumping off one foot and letting his length do the rest. He showed flashes of potential in terms of perimeter shooting as well, hitting 39 three pointers this year in 32 games and showing very nice elevation on his shot combined with a high release. He has shown a little bit of ability to hit shots off the dribble as well at times.

Marshall might be viewed by some teams as a potential hustle player who can bring a lot of energy off the bench with his raw athletic ability. He is a good rebounder because of his physical tools, and has the toughness and body control needed to take a hit at the basket and finish after contact.

He was somewhat of a positionless player at the NCAA level, roaming freely around the court (he is very quick off the ball) looking to create havoc and playing every position from the 1-4 for his team this year. The experience he received playing bringing the ball up the floor his Oakland at times undoubtedly helped his progression as a player.

Defensively, he has all the physical tools needed to lock down his man as a SG or SF, but wasn't allowed to fully show that this year because of the fact that his team played a lot of zone and they needed him to stay out of foul trouble at all costs. He still averaged just under 2 steals (he can be a terror in the passing lanes) and a block and a half per game.

                      Weaknesses:
Despite his age (as a fifth year senior), Marshall is a very raw prospect in almost all aspects of the game. Physically, he is very skinny still. In terms of skills, his ball-handling is good enough to get by people in the Mid-con, but because of how long his arms are he will need some serious work to be able to create shots for himself in the NBA. His overall basketball IQ is not extraordinarily high, as he gets caught doing things that many raw and inexperienced players are plagued with; picking up his dribble, running into brick walls (3.2 turnovers per game backs that up), killing his team's ball movement, gambling excessively for steals and blocks, over-penetrating and getting caught in no man's land, or taking bad shots out of the context of the offense.

This would not have been as obvious or extreme if he played for a better team that did not rely as heavily on him as they did, but its still an issue.

His perimeter shooting is also something that needs work, as he shot 29.5% from outside. Part of that has to due with the fact that his shot selection isn't always great.

Mentally, his focus isn't always there and he can be very streaky both from game to game and even within the game itself. He needs to learn how to play with the same energy and focus for an entire game, as right now he is excellent in spurts and then very passive in others. This might not be as much of an issue in the NBA, though, as not only will he mature with age but his role and minutes on the court will not be as big as they were in college.

                      Competition:
Marshall started his NCAA career at Ball State University in 2000-01. He only played in 13 games and averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. After that season he decided to transfer to Oakland and redshirted a year because of that.

Over the last three seasons, Marshall played for Oakland in the Mid-Continent (Mid-con) conference, a fairly average mid-major conference whose best teams this year were Oral Roberts and UMKC. He made an immediate impact as a redshirt sophomore, averaging 18 points, 6 and a half rebounds, nearly 3 assists, 3 steals and a block and a half per game in 35 minutes of action. He came down to earth a bit as a junior, averaging 17.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2 assists in similar playing time.

This year, Oakland scheduled one of the toughest out of conference schedules of any team in the country, going up against Xavier, Illinois, Marquette, Texas A&M, Missouri and others. They started off the season 0-7, with Marshall putting up decent numbers on poor percentages against these teams. Despite going into their conference tournament with a 7-18 record, they won five straight games to miraculously secure themselves a spot in the NCAA tournament, with the last three wins coming by a combined 8 points. Their improbable run continued after beating Alabama State in the play-in game (where Marshall was extremely impressive on national television), and Oakland became the toast of the national media. They were matched up with eventual national champions North Carolina in the first round of the tournament, and were handedly dismissed 96-68. Marshall had 16 points and 5 rebounds on 5-17 shooting. On the year he finished up with 20 points per game, nearly 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block and a half on 44% shooting from the field.

                      Outlook:
Marshall is really a beauty in the eye of the beholder type prospect, whose range is most likely somewhere in the 2nd round if he'll be drafted. He has all the physical tools needed to make it in the league, but will probably need to sit for a year or two in a system and be worked with before he'll be able to become a solid rotation player.

He was invited, but at the last minute declined his invite to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, which came as a surprise to some. Logic says he's sparked enough intrigue to garner an invite to Chicago, but that decision is now in the hands of NBA teams and the committee.

DALLAS- The Dallas Mavericks announced today they have signed free agent forward Josh Powell. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Re: Star} Pacers to acquire Armstrong from Mavs

Reviews of their play in summer league, from draftexpress.com. Each one is for a different game played, they read from latest to earliest games played.

Rawle Marshall - still not a strong finisher but clever in his use of flip shots and the glass. He is really quick and nimble and can get to paint whenever he wants. He is a surprisingly strong rebounder at both ends of the floor. His outside shot has proven consistent and keeps defenders honest on defending his drives.
Josh Powell- showed improving ball-handling and footwork as he made several nice moves off the dribble in the post to draw 8 or more fouls on the Jazz small forwards. Josh still looks the most comfortable around the hoop, though he did hit a few mid-ranged jumpers. Was a ferocious rebounder in 2nd half getting several rebounds out of his area. He ended up with 8 points and 9 rebounds. Josh had an advantage tonight athletically for the most night and failed to take advantage.
Rawle Marshall-continued his good play tonight, scoring 17 points on some jumpers, a couple of flip shots and by earning trips to the free throw line. His ball handling skills don't hold up under hard pressure but he managed to slice between defender and draw fouls.
Rawle Marshall – Played a very effective game driving to the hoop almost whenever he wanted. When the Spurs changed up the defense he made several outside jumpers. His ball-handling is decent for a small forward, but poor for a shooting guard and he got himself in trouble a few times in traffic and coughed it up.
                        Rawle Marshall
Marshall did a bit more ball-handling than we were initially used to seeing, playing a bit of a Marquis Daniels type role. He used his athleticism and improved ball skills to get around players (especially Gerald Green) and get to the basket, where he would generally look for his shot more than open teammates on the drive and dish. At certain times it appeared that he was forcing the issue a bit too much, as he would run into brick walls and display poor body-control when trying to finish plays after getting into the paint. All in all it was not hard to see Marshall’s talent and exactly what the Mavs like in him, although at this point he still isn’t close to playing more than a marginal role at best in the NBA.

In the 2nd half, Marshall’s wild act officially started getting old and predictable. He forced the issue on consecutive possessions and either turned the ball over or jacked up a contested shot. Until he polishes his ball-handling skills and develops anything resembling a jump-shot he has very little chance of seeing an NBA court next season.
                        Josh Powell
After a very rough start in day one, last year’s Vegas summer league darling got off to a much better opening and managed to show off many of the skills that had us so high on him last year. Rather than try to show off small forward skills like he did on Thursday, Powell went back to his bread and butter, which is making a living off doing all the little things, whether its hustling for rebounds, setting screens and rolling to the basket, getting his hands on loose balls and playing scrappy defense on whoever has the misfortune of being guarded by him. Once he was in the scoreboard and well within the flow of the game, Powell stepped outside a bit and showed off a pretty smooth handle which he used to get to the basket and finish thanks to his terrific athleticism and above average feel. Powell was a great pickup for the Mavs considering the work-ethic he brings to the table and how little he costs, and looks should be able to become a regular part of Dallas’ rotation next year.

                        Josh Powell
After having a stellar summer league performance last year, the expectations for a strong follow-up were high. Unfortunately, there was virtually no cohesion on the Mavericks team in the 1st half of play and it hurt Powell’s performance. Powell is a player that feeds off of the energy and tempo of the game, which makes him a consummate Mavs player. But, with a whopping 30 points at the half and innumerable turnovers it was difficult to generate much of a rhythm.

After this trade and assuming Al comes, we have 7 guys who were not on this team last year. That is pretty much half of a NBA roster.

                        White
                        Armstrong
                        Greene
                        Marshall
                        Williams
                        Powell
                        Harrington

With obviously more moves to come too. So much for those that thought we would have 2-3 changes max and then start next season with basically the same team.

It's possible that Saras, Jermaine, Danny, David, and Jeff could be our only returning players. I think they are the likely ones to return anyhow.

Well, we should atleast be able to fill our NBADL affiliate reasonably well. Stupid question: IF they are in our NBADL team do they count as part of the 15 on our roster?
