Default So I think I'm going to see the Pacers play in Toronto.....

and I've never seen a Pacer game in enemy territory.

But my wife and I are going to have our Pacer shirts on and I'm thinking about making a big sign...

If I can work up the nerve, what should my sign say?

I brought a big Pacer flag into the Bradley center and made sure everyone in my section new who I was rootin' for...it is most enjoyable until they lose

Your sign should say "O'neal For MVP"

Damn. That's really funny Jose

One of my friends and I had this idea of going to a Sharks game with a banner that said "Copier" which we were sure would be announced french-like as "Cah-pee-a". I suppose that would work with Dampier too though

I have some club seats for the Pacers @ GSW in March. I'll be wearing Pacers gear. Look for me, I'll be next to the disgruntled looking girl wearing Warriors gear (only game of the year where I won't be in the "home colors" if I'm there)

(Sensing that no one is looking, Grant nonchalantly strolls over to his post and when the coast is clear, casually gives it a *bump*)

Come on, I know there are some creative people here, I need a sign idea for the Toronto game.

Just make you a big sign that says

PACERSDIGEST.COM ROCKS--PACERS FOREVER

That should get enough attention.
I would rather be the hammer than the nail

MVP + Rottweiler + Hurricane = BEST FORWARD TANDEM IN THE NBA!
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

• Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
• Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
• Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

Enjoy your time at PD!

TORONTO HAS NO arTESTicles
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

If you want to get on television back in Indiana, the sign should clearly say, "Boom, Baby!"

The Pacers digest suggestion is pretty good, too.

Remember that its okay to cheer for your team, but if you're going to insult the home team, you may not like the consequences (beaten up, thrown out, beer showers, etc.) The home-team fans and ushers are always more sympathetic to a well behaved fan - especially since far too many of them exercise thier "right" to act like an @$$hole. IOW, before you decide to make a sign that says (or yell at the top of your lungs), "Vince Carter f#$ks cattle!", just remember how we would all respond if you replaced 'Vince Carter' with 'Reggie Miller'.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you
