Default Supporting Bonzi = Supporting PACERS

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Seriously, though, what are the major differences between Ron and Bonzi? They both seem to be almost the same player/person.

Is there anyone here who wanted Ron gone that would actually support the acquisition of Bonzi?

For the MLE..I might be willing to accept him. While he isn't as insane as Artest is..he also isn't as good of a player as he was. And he's also racist.

I really and truly don't believe Bonzi is nearly as ****ed up as Ron. Bonzi's just an *******, he's not insane.

That's what I said before too. They both have behavorial issues, but that doesn't mean they are the same or of the same nature. Like you said he's an *******, I would actually call him a major *******.

5 threads on someone that MAYBE the Pacers made an offer to? I wonder what this place will look like if they actually do sign someone

Bonzi has never and will never be a Pacer.

If you didn't sign NBA players who had character issues, you wouldn't have much of a pool of players to choose from. Let's face it, these guys aren't the best behaved in sports.

Not someone, but Wells. I think most could live with a decent player or Al forinstance (I don't really want Al, but I could live with it).

Problem is Wells isn't just "someone", he's someone with a well-documented past full of problems with all of the teams he has been with, EXCEPT this past year with the Kings which happenned to be a contract year ... coincidence?

    SIX threads!

This is basically just a parody of an old thread about Ron. I thought it would be fun. Or send some people over the edge...or screeching toward the nearest Burlington Coat Factory. Either way, I'm good.

Sure, but we don't have to pick the worst EACH TIME do we?

For the MLE? I'd be fine with it.

I don't care if we keep him and trade him in midseason. If you can get an 8mil/year for 5mil/year, you do it. If we rebuild in a year, that's another asset to use.

If we were 8mil under the cap, I wouldn't want us to spend it on him.

    Good point.

Of course, it didn't work out very well with Artest...
