Someone posted this on the RealGM board and I kinda liked it.
IND trades Johnson, Jackson, Croshere, 17
NO trades PJ Brown, Desmond Mason, 12
We get a legit starting C, plus a good slasher in Mase, and Bird's player should almost definitely be there at 12. If the next season is awful and this team doesn't work out, Brown and Mason's contracts are up. Trade Jermaine's and we are suddenly in rebuilding mode with a good amount of money and a young core of pick #12, Granger, Harrison and whoever.
Tinsley (hopefully traded for someone else)/Sarunas/?
Plus our 2 draft picks somewhere in there. NO picks up a solid backup to CP3, a SG that Byron Scott wanted when Indy got him and may still want, and a vet PF who can shoot, plus the 17th. Not sure if they'd do it, but I think it's pretty fair.
