Toronto has already made one really good move (firing their GM) & getting ready to make a poor one in replacing their coach. O'Neill should have done what Jim O'Brien did in Boston & tell them to go screw themselves.

The disclaimers..........
From NBA.com, a story on the Bobcats draft.
http://www.nba.com/bobcats/news/expansion_draft.html
This paragraph has the basic info.
Charlotte will receive lists from each of the 27 teams not competing in the NBA Finals 10 days prior to the scheduled Expansion Draft (June 12) and those from the competing teams in the Finals within two days of the conclusion of the Finals. Team lists will designate a maximum of eight protected players for that team’s players under contract or restricted free agents for the 2004-05 NBA season. The unprotected players are eligible for selection by the Bobcats, who will draft a minimum of 14 players from NBA rosters.

Salary information can be found at Hoops Hype.

I just added Patricia's site for some salary info.
http://www.dfw.net/%7Epatricia/contracts
This is the current Toronto roster.
Jalen Rose
Vince Carter
Alvin Williams
Donyell Marshall
Lamond Murray
Chris Bosh
Michael Curry
Jerome Moiso
Morris Peterson
Milt Palacio
Roger Mason
Robert Archibald
Dion Glover
Rod Strickland
Corie Blount
The Raptors have a max roster of 15 players. 9 are signed for next season & of the 6 free agents, 1 is restricted.
With a little help from Patricia's
Moiso is signed thru next season at a minimum salary.
Palacio has a player option at a minimum salary for next season.
Mason Jr. is signed thru next season at a minimum salary.
The Raptors signed for 04-05.
Jalen Rose ----------- $14,487,000
Vince Carter --------- $12,584,688
Alvin Williams --------- $5,850,000
Donyell Marshall ------ $4,545,000
Lamond Murray ------- $4,875,000
Chris Bosh ------------- $3,129,720
Jerome Moiso ----------- Not Listed
Milt Palacio -------------- Not Listed
Roger Mason Jr. -------- Not Listed
Toronto's restricted free agent.
Morris Peterson ------ $2,371,999
Free agents.
Michael Curry
Robert Archibald
Dion Glover
Rod Strickland
Corie Blount
The Raptors have 10 players eligible for the 8 man protected list.
Carter, Marshall & Bosh are the only sure things.
The borderline guys would be Rose, Williams, Murray, Moiso, Palacio, Mason Jr. & Peterson.
Rose has 3 years left on his contract starting around 14.4M next season. That is way too much for what Rose brings. There is almost zero chance that the Bobcats would take him so why not leave him out there. Rose has the talent to make the list but his salary dictates otherwise.
Williams has 4 years remaining on his deal starting at 5.8M next season. His knees are shot & there is little chance he can hold on long enough to still be playing at the end of that deal. The Bobcats won't take damaged goods & if they did the Raptors should throw a parade. Williams misses the list.
Since they only need to leave 2 players off & I've already selected Rose & Williams as being those 2 players, I guess the rest will make the list by default.
The Toronto protected list.
Vince Carter
Donyell Marshall
Lamond Murray
Chris Bosh
Jerome Moiso
Morris Peterson
Milt Palacio
Roger Mason Jr.
The Raptors will make the following players available to the Bobcats.
Jalen Rose
Alvin Williams
