Default The official Pacers vs Magic postgame thread

    Here is what I see.

I see a team that is physically and mentally exhausted, almost like they made the playoffs but they have nothing left. I suppose it is possible that they could gain some type of energy once the playoffs start. But I just don't see it.

I also think all Pacers fans need to admit that Jackson has played some good games here lately. he deserves more credit than he gets.

Sure hope Foster can play, he is so important and his performance tonight was very inspiring

It's kinda hard to believe that we are physically tired, considering we spend half the time on the IR....
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

    What a season. Wow.

It was a good win to pull out. Bring on the Nets.

I think we'll be decent in the playoffs. It's like a new season.

    41-41 is the record.

Tinsley BETTER be ready by game 1, if we want any shot at winning. Jasikavicus is getting worse and worse on defense.

JO is trying to get his teammates up, sometimes at the wrong times. Thats why the TO number was high today. But his post play, rebounding and shot blocking have been great. JO has stepped it up.

Very good game from Jack too, he isnt forcing it ALOT, and he has hit some amazing shots, right when we needed them.

Fiesty amazing game tonight, the Magic couldnt do nothing to keep him off the glass. Danny too.

Some guys are banged up, so I can understand that look, on the other hand, some look plain good.

If this is the JO we get in the playoffs (and I hope some players get more used to JO passing out of the post, so they are ready to catch a ball) then we have a real monster in our mids, stats don't even come close to describe his play tonight, like the other night, This is how a franchise players plays.

It seemed the defense was a lot better except there towards the end.

I always laugh when the media tell us what the season series record is. It never means anything. But how many times do you think we'll hear that the Pacers won the season series 2-1. The current temperture in Cancun has as much relevance.

Jax daughter is pretty cute. She thinks some of those questions are stupid also.

I think the weather in Cancun is relevant, if that is where the losers go after the series maybe they wanna take us UB, just to "hang"

Correct, and this should go without saying but even more so with how NJ is set up. JO is the Key to this series, make or break. If they have one weakness it is certainly in the middle, no one to bang with JO in the post.

NJ will have problems matching up with him downlow when he is on his game, let's hope that this continues.

Jermaine's peaking at the right time considering the team the Pacers will be playing in the playoffs.

Did anyone talk to the crowd like the Warriors do at the last home game of the season?

Does anyone know if the game on Sunday's going to be on National television? I was looking through my tvguide and it doesn't show any NBA games on at that time.

JO, Jack, and Peja have carried this team lately, which is an excellent sign of things to come in the playoffs. I am very confident in this team right now - unlike a couple of weeks ago.

He has had some very good nights, the problem is when he is having bad nights, he lets it effect his whole game, and it brings the whole team down.

Well it's kinda sad that he says that, but it's true. I just don't see us beating NJ right now. We play to our opponent, and we lack the killer instinct to put a game away.

If JO and Jackson always played like this, I wouldn't be in such a hurry to trade them. Alas, it's just a phase.

Another thing that occured to me during the game is: if our defense can't handle Arroyo and Dooling, how are we even going to lay a finger on Kidd? Our defense against the break is atrocious, and that's pretty much all the Nets do all game. We're going to get ripped up and down by these guys.
