    Yes, that is traveling and not allowed in the "real" game of basketball. But that is the And1 Mixtape Tour, so traveling/palming is very much allowed.

    NBA refs allowed Steve Francis to do something similar on a break in a Piston game.

    That is the only was you can pass it to yourself legally. Is that what Francis did?
