24 was good tonight, the preview for the next episode makes it look quite ridiculous.
Also, HBO's new series How to Make it in America is quite good as well. It gets better every episode.
Watched season 2 of True Blood. Campy R-rated vampire fun!
Watched another episode of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. OK, I'm officially hooked. this show is WAY over the top. And at first I thought that is was way too cheesy and ridiculous. But the sword fights were OK and I like naked people so I kept tuning in. Now it's like sex and blood crack cocaine. I gotta get my fix every week. I love this show. By the way, if you are a netflix member, you can watch all of the Spartacus episodes online for 'free'.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” - Winston Churchill
“If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to serve as a horrible warning.” - Catherine Aird
Tried to watch an episode of Spartacus Blood and Sand once and just thought it was stupid. But I'm going to have to give it another shot and just go into the thing with a different mindset.
5th episode of Spartacus
once you get past the first episode and get into the world of Spartacus...its definitely a treat...
"Justified" The premiere was pretty good, but it's going to be interesting to see where they go in future episodes.
"SouthLAnd' Another solid episode, with might be the downside to the show. There never seems to be a huge story arc that encompasses it or big dramatic events, but that is what makes it a different cop drama and procedural.
"Lost" The most recent was probably the best one in quite some time, but this week we finally get the Richard Alpert centric episode that we've waiting for, forever.
Getting ready to watch Season 1 of "Damages"...
Anyone watch Breaking Bad
I have several episodes on my DVR and the season premiere from last night. Heard it was excellent, but have never watched it before.
Breaking Bad - I don't have TV, and I don't think it's online, but I try to catch up when I can. My cousin is a camera man for the show and (obviously) he thinks its great. From what I've seen, I can't disagree.
Psych - Season 4's finale was a good one. I like how the mood of the show can change from week to week. Luckily, season 5 is right around the corner.
Season premiere from last night did not disappoint.
I've seen the first two seasons of Breaking Bad and I love it. Kranston is great in it and all the side characters are good. It has great black humor but it's more serious than say Weeds.
I have about 8 episodes of breaking bad on my DVR
Well I just compared the two since they both have a main character who goes from regular suburban life to a life in drugs because of a catastrophic event in their lives. Breaking Bad does it more serious.
Just started Damages Season 1. UB, I highly recommend that you start it...
Believe me, watching Damages season 3 only without seeing # 1 will absolutely give you no real clue as to what is going on.
Justified so far has been very very entertaining. I'm curious how much mileage they can get out of this show but if the rest are even half as good as the first two episodes then it will be a very good show. I love the cast of characters in the show because it is a combination of three of my favorite shows of all time (the shield, Deadwood & American Gothic).
Caprica: Suprise of the year, for me anyway. I had zero interest in watching this show but once I did I was drawn in much much faster than I ever thought I would be. It's just funny to me that I like this show and hate SGU becuase this is the exact opposite reaction I thought I would have to either show.
Chuck- this is getting better and better. And actually more serious as the series progresses.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
Just finished the season finale of the first season of Damages. I'm conflicted on if I should start season two immediately since it'll be awhile until I get to season three.
Go Team Challenger and Team Hemi 'Cuda.
Glad to see Team Lambo falter a little and glad to see Team Lexus go home.
South Park "You have 0 friends"
As diehard anti-facebook, I loved it. If only I had some kind of simple way to tell all my friends and family to watch it, and then discuss it afterwards.
Come to the Dark Side -- There's cookies!
My wife has me watching celebrity rehab. She is always bugging me about asking if addicts really act this way or is it a put on for the TV. I tell her about stories when I worked inpatient and she doesn't believe me sometimes at the outrageous things that people will do when influenced by drugs.
I ran into the same problem Stan did with a grandmother.
just started watching season 1 of Damages
