I found the break up with Hodgins and Angela stupid, because I think people who walk away from good things looking for perfection are idiots who shouldn't be allowed to live.
I skipped the double ep circus thing, but I didn't feel one way or the other about the finale, but I didn't mind the last few eps previous.
The writing is very uneven. At it's best, this was enjoyable episodic television...primarily because of the characters. (Feel the same way about Castle.) However, the show running is pretty bad, and, as I said earlier, I've got some problems with the continuity...particularly of character.
As far as giving up on the show, it's just a throw away that I DVR or Hulu, so I'll stick with it.
Hell, I slogged through four seasons of the new and incredibly self-important BSG just to see how it would end, so it's not like I haven't wasted my time in more monumental and pretentious ways.
