The first episode of Bionic Woman. Pretty good. I'll try to catch it when it premieres.

The first episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Very good. Forget T3 happened. I'll definitely be seeing this when it debuts. Summer Glau and Lena Headey both star. The dude that played Zach from Heroes is in it too. There was some continuity errors that I caught, but it still was very good.

Robot Chicken. A very good show that I just recently got into. Weird but good

Big Brother 8 - Watch it with a group of friends every night it is on but they need something to happen cause it is getting stale. It could also be that I was tired.

You gotta watch the robot chicken star wars spoof. You will laugh your *** off.

Can it be found on the internet or do I have to get lucky and see it on TV?

didn't want to start a new thread for this...

if anybody is interested in watching the pilot episode for the new CW show produced/directed by Kevin Smith called "Reaper" here is the link. in order to access it, use the code 082507.

the premise: bret harrison (from "Grounded For Life" and "The Loop") stars as a slacker who dropped out of college because it made him 'sleepy.' his parents allowed him to become the best slacker he could be. turns out the reason they allowed it is because they had already sold his soul to the devil (played by ray wise of "24") who is coming to collect sam to work as a bounty hunter on his 21st birthday.

    also...

if anyone is interested in watching the first episode for season 3 of "Weeds" or the premiere of david duchovny's new showtime show "Californication" click here.

After it first came out, it was busted up in pieces on the internet on You tube. I don't know if they had to take down or not.

Robin Hood-On BBC America. Very good show. About half way through season one now.

Also been watching-Paula's Party- on the food network. She cooks some good stuff. Gonna try some of her receipes.

Oh, and still watching Angel. Close to the end of Season one I think. Maybe even into Season two now. Not exactly sure.

Oh, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I've been watching Sponge Bob and Sesame Street with my 10 month old son. He just loves elmo. Sponge bob is more for my entertainment than his, but the cartoon captivates him for a couple minutes everyonce in a while.

    Just got in to Deadwood.

Looks like I know what I'll be doing for the next month. Only two episodes deep, but this one has a The Wire/Rome-level ceiling.

    The Wire

Very impressive. I struggled with it early, not because I didn't enjoy it, but because it's so damn depressing. I watched the first 8 episodes over the last 3 weeks, then I ended up watching the last 5 hours straight through last night. Captivating stuff.

Glad you liked it. it is a little bit of an acquired taste and if you aren't committed to watching it, I could see how many people never get hooked.

In each season the second to the last episode is the best.

If you like the wire check out the miniseries "The Corner" from David Simon same guy who does the writing for the wire. The corner focuses on this one family in the ghetto of Baltimore and how drugs destroyed there family but it also shows how it is destroying other characters the neighborhood etc. Kind of the untold stories the wire doesn't really focus on.

If you found the wire depressing you probably wouldn't get through this but I highly recommend it.

Season 4 is the best so you got plenty more work to do. Keep at it.

And...Lots of fantastic stuff from Bunk, Herc, Cheese and Lester to come in Season 2.

Should be fairly soon since it aired a year ago now. But I haven't seen a release date or anything.

Also...Calling Season 4 the best, while likely true for most people, is pretty much like picking the the best looking Victoria Secret model. You really can't go wrong, and it remains subjective.

Yeah I don't think you can go wrong with any season to be honest. Personally I thought season 3 may have been a bit better than 4 but they are close.

What is incredible about "The Wire" is how consistantly good each season is and how good each episode within each season is. Sure a few episodes stand out, but I can't ever remeember a show where it is so consistantly good.

    Yup.

I don't think they're ever topping the scenes with Omar in court though.

That was a classic scene. And as I mentioned earlier Omar is the best character on the show

The first episode of the new Flash Gordon series on SciFi. I wasn't impressed. The characters were flat and had very little chemistry. The plot was weak. The acting wasn't convincing (especially the actor playing Dr. Zarkoff). All in all, it was the modern equivalent of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century from the late 70s (and that was a piece of crap) only with better F/X.
Since this was the first episode, I'll give it 1 more chance next week. But I am not hopeful.

Uh, I looked at it and I didn't see anything that approached Erin Gray in spandex.

Rediscovering Beverly Hills 90210 on Soapnet, channel 262 on DirecTV... God, I forgot how much I love this show.
