I did watch Nashville mainly because the reviews were so good. The pilot was good. Maybe too much of a soap opera for my liking, but I'll keep watching for a few more weeks.
I won't be watching a single episode of this show, for a multitude of reasons, but it does give me a chance to say I think that Connie Britton is a truly brilliant actress.

I hate country music, luckily I can fast-forward through the music parts. She is really good. I never would have thought about watching Nashville, but it was pretty much the consensus pick as best new show on the networks of the fall season. I doubt I watch it through the whole season. Once the NBA season starts I watch very few weekly shows

So I watch that Revolution show on NBC because I have nothing else to do on Monday nights. Apparently Noblesville's downtown is a movie set from a John Wayne western.

The Walking Dead leads off with its highest quality episode to date. Will it continue to be pretty good or devolve back into being hilariously bad? I'm kind of hoping for the latter. Stay tuned.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. The season premiere suffered immensely from the scarcity and brevity of the Lori-Rick scenes which really drive the series forward. The episode was heavy on zombie-killing filler.

Yeah, I was kidding. The whole Rick-Lori dynamic is tortuous. Now, Lori-Carl story-lines, on the other hand...

If your not watching Arrow on the CW you should be. So far the best new show of the season.

    Dexter Season 6...
OK... I had no idea that Travis from season 6 on Dexter was Tom Hanks' son. I never made the connection.

You're better off forgetting Collin Hanks exists. Or even better, that Season 6 (and seasons 3 through 6) of Dexter exist. First few episodes of this season are the best the show's in years, which ain't sayin much, but it's genuinely solid television at least.

That's the Lithgow season right? True, that was a decent season. But the show's got a majority of crap episodes and seasons. And the crap is way crappier than the good is good.

Homeland is the best show on TV right now, by a wide margin. I was pretty ambivalent towards her previously, but Claire Danes just destroys it. Between her acting and the writers'...writing, mental illness is depicted extremely well.

I was actually very pleased with Homeland this week. Much better than the previous week's episode.

I sort of stopped watching Homeland. Did not DVR it but have it on as I am doing other things just to follow the story in case it gets good. This past episode brought me back in. Still leery, but we'll see

    The Voice

I'm actually liking it and I hate most everything that is a talent based show like Idol and reality tv.

I wouldn't put it by a wide margin but it definitely has vaulted into the Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Louie, Game of Thrones top tier of tv shows; it will stay there assuming it can keep up this breakneck pace it's on. Seriously, BB's pacing seems glacial contrasted with how Homeland has done this season. Very ballsy.

Happy Endings is back. And it may end up in first place for the very up-for-grabs Best Sitcom on tv award. 30 Rock has been very strong so far; I expected them to close out the series well and they have done just that so far. Meanwhile, Community remains in purgatory; ****ing NBC...
