Maybe the play here is that both Deb and Dex are going to end up dead. Deb at the end of this season, Dex at the end of 8. But that just seems too obvious.
In a show full of cringe inducing moments, last night's Breaking Bad dinner scene truly stands out.
I'm still uncomfortable.
"I had to take her down like Chris Brown."
So... Breaking Bad was fairly tense in different ways (depending on which scene you want to think about) yesterday. I've enjoyed this season thus far. I hate this ridiculous "half time" gap we have to endure after the next two Sundays, though. Over ten freakin' months!
Bachelor Pad, my guilty pleasure show. I don't watch the Bachelor or Bachelorette, but I do like Bachelor Pad with all the challenges, lies, drama. Then there is always the couple of people in the mansion who are just comedic tragedy's. Hot chicks, d-bags and booze makes for a funny show.
You can't get champagne from a garden hose.
If you need to fill the Breaking Bad gap between these stupid mini-seasons or whatever I'd recommend The Shield.
Hate that I always comment on Newsroom. But the mock debate episode of Newsroom did not work for me at all. Fell flat and bored me.
The whole two part epidsode was probably the worst TV I've ever seen HBO put out.
I've tried really, really hard to like this show. I can't. I'll watch the season finale next week but I can't see myself coming back after that.

The entire draft. Love the picks of Turner, Young and trading for Christmas.
Signing Glen Robinson III
Trading for Budinger
Signing Monta Ellis
Signing Jordan Hill (not for the player, but for his deal)
Re-signing Stuckey and Allen

Wow. Walt...not sure what to say...
Thought the season finale of the Newsroom helped redeem the past two episodes. Although they seemed kind of irrelevant, oh you didn't get the debate? Well that doesn't matter at all! I feel like they could have just skipped the previous two eps.
It's weird to think that Bob Odenkirk would end up playing the most competent character on one of the best TV shows ever.
I'm not real sure I thought this show was much better than the other two. They seemed to hit a high point with the Bin Laden episode and after that it seems to have taken a step back.
Also I know I need to just let this stuff go but I just feel compelled to make the following statement.
Comparing any group of political sympathizers from one party or the other to the Taliban is outrageous and does nothing but make light of how the Taliban truly ruled their country.
This goes for the Tea Party or the Occupy movement. Neither party has advocated beheadings for not following the strict tenants of Sharia law. Nobody is saying flying a kite is forbidden (you think I'm kidding but I'm not the Taliban forbid kite flying).
Again I realize I'm watching HBO and they are as anti GOP as you can be (which is thier right), but this is just too much.
I really hope Revolution turns out to be a good show. It's premise reminds me a lot of Firefly, which of course is the greatest tv show of all time.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
That being said, I thought the finale of Newsroom had some good beats at the end....but then squandered them:
The whole episode felt like a bunch missed opportunities.
Hey! What're you kicking me for? You want me to ask? All right, I'll ask! Ma'am, where do the high school girls hang out in this town?
Somebody convince me this wasn't the worst episode of breaking bad the show has ever done.
There's no point in me trying to change your opinion (it is what it is), but I will say I was fine with it. Not my favorite episode, but I didn't think it was a bad episode.
It kept me feeling tense betweenSpoiler:
BTW guys I have decided to go ahead and revisit Breaking Bad. My Wife and I have watched all of season 1 and now are in the middle of season 2.
I'm not sure what this says but she thinks the show is hilarious.
