Season premiere of Fringe.
Fauxlivia is so much hotter than Olivia. Is it the bangs?
Unforgettable was the series premiere though it was ok not great. It will stay on the Tivo list for awhile.
Person of Interest was also the series premier I must say very good. One of the best shows I've seen in awhile will be a must record for me.
Prime Suspect I will be watching soon has anyone seen it yet? Looks good.
Ho. Ly. Cow. That final scene. Wow!
@cdash. I'm not saying I think the season is bad or BB is bad. Not at all. I just liked the other season a lot better then this one. The first 5/6 episodes it went in one direction then another. Not a lot of line. But, the last 3 or so episodes have been very good and judging by the reaction of Hicks above it seems to continue.
Personally, I think it's still very good, but I'm a fan of "A Game of Thrones" aswell and I really LOVED the first season and I personally, but hey everyone is entitled to another opinion, liked it better then season 4 of BB so far.
I also thought "The Boardwalk Empire" and "The Chicago Code" were quite good. Then again I have always loved "Sons of Anarchy" aswell which has also kicked off a new season and so far it's been really good again...
So many good series. I presume "Dexter" and "Grey's Anatomy" will probably start airing soon again aswell... the big question, offcourse, is... do I have enough time to follow them all...?

Terra Nova was actually pretty good (could have done without some of the family dynamics that seemed forced but oh well what can you do it's network tv).
My greatest concern is that the production on this has to be through the roof to make and if the ratings are not killer then fox has a history of cutting things without giving them time to grow.
Ratings not very good.
I can't tell you how it sickens me that 2 and a half men get's 20 million viewers while this got less than 9.
It's hard to fault TV execs. anymore, the TV viewing public is really nothing but the lowest common denomonator.
I think it has more to do with time. People can sit and watch Two and a Half Men even if they've not seen any episodes in a couple of weeks and actually enjoy what they're watching without being confused.
Hour long series are extremely hard to follow unless you watch each and every episode.
People like simple things.
I have been watching the Shield from beginning to end again and I'll go ahead and say this now.
Pound for pound this may be one the best tv series ever.
I love the wire but in my mind I think after re-watching both of them I think I can say that I like the Shield better. While the Wire had excellent pacing and great acting it did have some episodes that either dragged on or did not advance the story very well.
In all of the years of the shield I can not find one single episode that was either slow or poorly done.
So yes I think it was also better than the Soprano's from that standpoint as well.
Some of you guys that have never seen it but love Sons of Anarchy might want to check this out, it's by the same creator.
Hey! What're you kicking me for? You want me to ask? All right, I'll ask! Ma'am, where do the high school girls hang out in this town?
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

Formerly a naturallystoned, badinfluence...
The first two episodes of Community have felt flat to me this season (3). This alarms me as by the time season 2 was done, I thought this was my favorite TV show.
Either way, I think Breaking Bad reclaimed the crown for me with its return anyway.
minus this scene) were among them. Comedies that tend to try to retain some level of serialization (despite constant shifts in style and tone week to week, Community is among them) often need running starts to find their footing in a season (the Parks and Rec premiere from last week was also an example of a premiere trying to wrap up story lines from the finale instead of the show at it's comedic peak). But by the end of last season, both shows had proven they were arguably the two best comedies on the air.
When it clicks, Community has much higher highs than Parks and Rec. But PnR is much more consistent (there really wasn't a weak episode last season) while Community's natural inventiveness makes it more volatile in terms of quality.

Has anyone seen the previews for American Horror Story on FX? What the heck is this about?
