Final episode of Colbert Report tonight...really sad it's ending
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Comedy Central said anything about what they're gonna do with the timeslot? they really should just make Stewart's show a full hour, assuming he's up to it anyway.

They could be another channel that shows Big Bang re-runs. They'd atleast get better ratings.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

David Fincher's remaking the UK series Utopia for HBO so figured I'd give the original a go since it just got cancelled after like 11 episodes. Only 2 episodes in but it seems pretty good, and it's freaking gorgeous to look at.

I'm three episodes in, the storyline hasn't really reeled me in yet but yes, it is gorgeous
Wow, watched episode 1 of Series 2 and I've never seen so many loose ends tied up (so nicely) in one episode. Not that they were loose ends per se, but everything that had happened before and everything happening currently, all the little cracks in the viewers' knowledge were suddenly and magnificently filled in, quite a revelation.

I liked the White Collar finale last night. Disappointed it is over.

Legend of Korra series finale: a bit anticlimactic compared to last season, but that ending...

    Korrasami!

Bravo, writers for having the balls to put that scene in there.

Larry Wilmore is taking over that spot

Letterman going off the air didn't really hit me until tonight. Jay Thomas with the Lone Ranger story, knocking the meatball off the tree, Darlene Love still being a beast at 73. I'm friggin 30, I can remember 2 buddies from middle school I haven't talked to in probably a decade but I remember getting to school and eating my bagel and cracking each other up re-living Letterman bits about Rupert and whoever was on the night before. It's really the last vestige of my youth, literally grew up with it, shaped my entire sense of humor even with Dave becoming basically a dickhead curmudgeon the last few (to be generous) years.

The last 7 or so years, whenever Youtube came to be, my Christmas morning was me waking up, putting the coffee drip on, and pulling up the newest rendition of Darlene Love doing Baby Please Come Home and shimmying around whatever kitchen I was in then calling mom and talking about how the sax player revealed himself.
