I started watching it today and had to drag myself away from the TV after 5 episodes. Fantastic show. I am loving it so far.
Phew! I thought I was the only one here. First episode wasn't that great IMHO, though the quality blows off your screen from pretty much minute nr.1, but more then good enough to want to watch the 2nd and thats when it drew me in. Quality tv, people.

David Fincher's remaking the UK series Utopia for HBO so figured I'd give the original a go since it just got cancelled after like 11 episodes. Only 2 episodes in but it seems pretty good, and it's freaking gorgeous to look at.

The Knick is easily the best new show that is out there. Happy Valley on Netflix is also very good

    No walking dead reaction yet?

On another note I wish talking dead would do screen shots or something of when they explain who people were in the episodes or something because I usually forget.

I thought TWD was pretty good.
    Spoiler Spoiler:

I'm still not sure about the baby... I've about had my fill of babies in tv series that end up being a storyline anchor. Was the baby in the print versions? Please don't tell me the actress got pregnant in real life so they wrote it into the script! LOL

The Walking Dead is a perfect name for the show's writers. I wasn't all that sure if I was watching the premier of a new season, or the rehash of how the fued with Woodbury started. The only difference between the two was that Woodbury didn't eat their captives. They just made them fight to the death.

I'm glad they managed to get Rick and Carl's heart-to-heart forehead hug in the middle of another zombie horde. Wouldn't be TWD without that.

Gotham is getting better every week. This universe's Penguin is becoming must see TV.

I watched the first couple episodes, as I am a lover of all things Batman, but Gotham has yet to do much for me. It just seems campy and the first episode was just name dropping left and right. I understand the need to do it, but it hasn't taken hold quite yet for me.

I thought tonight's episode was good. They seem to be tightening up the story lines with the major players being on the scene.

you get one more episode to hook me The Affair. not interested in watching McNutty cheat on his wife with some WASPs and all that entails. pacing and score was classic CW stuff though. housewives will love it I'm sure.

Same here. Also some of the character just don't come across for me. One small example... his wife. When I look at her I think she looks way too snobby for me, much more like one of those prototypical Beverlyhills girls and that together with a detective just seems "off". I know she owns a gallery, etc, etc. I dunno just didn't work for me.

I'm probably too critical, but I got far from hooked by the first episode, maybe the 2nd will do more for me. I certainly hope so.

I think I'm spoiled by cable TV shows and British television. Network TV anymore just misses the mark for me big time. I might wait until a few more episodes of Gotham and then binge watch a handful of them, but it's telling a story I already know in a way that is not particularly original or from a point of view I ever really cared about.

The Flash was good again tonight, even better than the pilot, IMO. And it's awesome that they got Shipp to play Barry's dad. I loved the original The Flash series.

Kind of a "meh" episode of Gotham last night, but we're starting to see the buildup to what should be an epic gang war in addition to foreboding towards another rogues gallery origin story. Penguin still steals the show though.

But if I saw what I think I saw in the teaser for next week's episode..........
