Watched the last two episodes of "Fargo". What an AWESOME tv show this was. "True Detectives" was really, really good, but this one IMHO just wast a tad better.

Amen. Sad to see it end, at least with this cast and storyline.

Yeah, definitely. I'm curious to see what FX will come up for next year. Did they happen to sign the Coen brothers for multiple projects or was this the only one? Would love to see a one season series based on something like "O Brother, where art thou" or "No Country for Old Men".

No kidding. Never thought of that, but that would be awesome. Love both of those movies.

Just finished season one of The Bridge. Decent buddy-cop, crime drama. Almost as good as The Killing

"Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" on HBO is pretty darn funny.

Hate to admit that I like a sugary soap opera witch show but the Witches Of East End is pretty awesome. Very good ratings as well.

I feel a 24 movie in the works. Last nights season finale left me wanting more. Maybe we'll get another season in 2 years? Gotta show what happens to Jack in mother Russia.

It just gets better as the characters develop and the writers hit all the marks... Except for that fly episode...

Been watching some of my Home Improvement DVD's. The formula gets old after a while but I still miss that show not being on the air.

I'm mostly enjoying The Leftovers on HBO, though I can't imagine people are going nuts for it. I've found that not only is my tolerance for stories of people who are grim, sad, and desperate increased; I may be unable to watch "happy" tv shows ever again. I do think that middle aged TV writers reach a point when they are too old/out of touch to write teenagers, minorities, and twenty-somethings believably and should just stick to what they know best. Even Daniel's rowmate in Rectify felt charicature-y for that show.

So, I guess I'm requesting more lonely, desperate, upper-middle class, middle aged white people on TV going forward? (Other than Black Jesus.)

Is that saying Hank's likability tanked over the run of the show? I'd say it's just the opposite. He started out as a boisterous, over the top cop and then as the series went on that was seen as more of a mask to hide some insecurities and also that he really was a good cop looking to do a good job.... And a good family man. At the end of the day Hank always wanted to do the right thing. Sometimes his buttons were pushed and that didn't happen but he always seemed to understand when he'd messed up and crossed a line and tried to fix it.

I really liked "The Americans". Sure, it sensationalizes the intelligence line of work, or atleast that's what I suspect (lol), but I love how they bring the whole time to life. The whole atmosphere feels very authentic to me.

Will start watching season 2 of "Rectify" in a couple of minutes. Really loved season 1 with the slow speed, the way we follow this man and his suddenly radically changed life and how people view him.

You are in for one hell of a ride. I knocked it out in about two months before the final season came on. Got done a few weeks before and that was one long wait.

Just got caught up with Game of Thrones.
