Thread: checking playoff box scores

    Default checking playoff box scores

even though the matchups are not yet locked in on the site, you can still find out how your game is going if you know or suspect the identity of your opponent.

Every team has a team number, and you need to find out what it is. For example, I'm team 19. When I click on the status of playoff game 1, the url address bar reads:

    http://hoops.sports.ws/league/displa...am1=0&team2=19

The box score shows my players as team 2 but nothing as team 1. If I change the zero to the number of my opponent, I then see the box score. I look at an old box score and find that Cedar City is team 4. I thus replace the 0 with 4 and hit return and I see how I'm doing vs. Cedar City

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

As a follow-up, the best way (I think) to quickly find team numbers is when you go to the lineup page and click on "Display Lineup Stats", at the bottom of the page that comes up, all teams are listed. Just run your mouse over the links and it'll show the team numbers in the URL's.
