Just wait until Ron Artest pokes fun at them.
Well then, I guess I don't feel so sorry for them anymore. They'll learn. Maybe somebody needs to send them Lord of the Rings.
Come to the Dark Side -- There's cookies!
Meh. I don't care. Ron will probably behave for the rest of the season and they'll think they got the steal of the century. But by the time November or December rolls around and Ron has his annual incident(s), then they might start to change their tune.
What's sad is this is like the umpteenth Kings site I've been to and as far as I'm concerned, it's just as terrible as the last one. They'll enjoy having Ron break their plays, and their players.
Do they not know what Ron has done in the past?
LMAO at the guy that said he does not think Ron will have any problems there. News Flash, Ron Artest is crazy, he WILL NEVER change.
Ron is like a new toy to them right now. After they play with the idea of having Artest on their team for awhile. They will quickly throw it away or not want to be bothered with him anymore.
Their format makes my hair hurt
Heywoode says... work hard man.
lol Good Luck Sacramento.... that's all I got to say.
Sounds like frustration on their part. Let's face it the Kings and Pacers have pretty much rode the same train for years. Both teams have been good for awhile and this year they are struggling big time.
Also the layout of their forum is hard to follow. I'd be upset to.
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....
I think we all know when that it is a matter of when, not if, and no matter how Peja works out here Ron will be much more of a problem for them. We will just have to wait for our time, and then we can laugh at them.
Is there a link to their Senior High board?
Sacramento watch out! You are diseased! Quick! find a cure! You have been Hacked by the Pacers! You got virus now! Format C: the team now! Firewall doesnt exist for this virus!
"Time to watch a new, calm Artest play awesome for the Kings. I bet you money no problems happen in Sac."
wow, this is some funny ****.
They are NO different than most here before he FINALLY did enough for you to give up on him. Some of us have been saying for 2 years that he was ruining this team. MOST here cared not a whit about chemistry. "Just give me talent" was the prevailing attitude. There was even a thread to that effect.
Sane 3-time All-Star > Insane 1-time All-Star
To tell you the truth...I seriously doubt that he will cause any problems for the rest of the season cuz he wants to play and build up his rep again. He has to prove something again after it was decimated over the last month.
The problem is that I have no idea what he will do beyond this season.
We may have gotten the lesser talented player in this deal....but its piece of mind that Walsh/Bird has brought to the SF position.
I would much rather live with a less talented SF in Peja ( who as a "variable" in the overall team equation is less of a concern ) then live with Artest ( who is an "unknown variable" and something I no longer want ). I no longer have to worry about what my starting SF is going to do.....cuz I know exactly what I'm gonna get out of Peja...game in and game out. With Artest....there is always a "nagging" concern there with him. These last 2 seasons for us have been a rollercoaster with too much drama with too many "variables" that could derail the team at anytime.....I want those "variables" eliminated so that I know what we are working with. At this point, Artest is a risk that the Kings needed to take....whereas I have reached a point where I no longer want to take any signifnicant risks...I just want a solid player that can give me what I want...consistency and no drama.
[I]Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.
Lol I can't wait for Ron's new hijinx...I just can't wait...
I just don't think his mind works that way. Sure, he INTENDS to play nice, but he just can't help it.
He's too impulsive to be calculating.
"I'll always be a part of Donnie Walsh."
-Ron Artest, Denver Post, 12.28.05
I really cant wait till Ronnie does something when they dont make the playoffs and he starts talking about the people in the Kings org. Its going to be so fun.
Yeah, now we can laugh just like the rest of the NBA.
Well said. It reminds me of when my son was in pre-school. After school one day he said this to me about his friend..."Daddy, Luke wants to be good, he just has a really hard time doing it."
Ron Artest is the pre-schooler who wants to be good, but just can't.
Wow, they totally destroyed Peja. Is there any really reason for that?
