Eddie Gill's contract expires, and I hope there's 0% chance he's resigned. Scot Pollard's contract also expires, and I doubt he's resigned. Of the guys who play regularly, it's Fred Jones, another FA, who will probably be resigned, but it depends on what hes offered. As for being involved in a trade, I'd go with Austin Croshere to the Lakers as part of an Artest/Odom deal.

I think we'll trade Tinsley, Johnson, and Pollard. I think Bender will retire.

Assuming we pick up only a SF with Artest, I think we'll upgrade our center spot and get a better draft sport for a point guard.

i hope tinsley is gone after this season. i have seen enough of him to prove to me he cannot stay healthy enough to take us to a title. i really don't see us offering pollard another contract and i don't want him back either. i wish bender would retire right now as i type this. and we have no real use for gill either.
those guys are on the top of my list as the least likely to return next year.

You should change it to "What players are most likely gone by the start of the 2006 regular season?".

That way, you can take into account any changes during the 2006 offseason as well as any trade that happens by the trade deadline.

I'm going based on the who will likely be gone by the start of the 2006 regular season.

    - Tinsley and/or SJax ( I think one or both will be traded )
    - Gill and Pollard ( Expiring Contracts that won't be resigned )
    - Bender ( cuz he's retiring )
    - Croshere or Foster ( I think that either one will be gone for Contract/Salarycap relief reasons......giving a slight edge to Croshere being dealth as Big Man like Foster that can rebound are hard to find ).
    - Freddie ( cuz the Pacers won't pay him...even if they should ).

I could care less that Tinsley or SJax are traded. Gill, Pollard and Bender will not return for salarycap/retirement reasons. The only concern I have is that Croshere will likely not retire a Pacer. Although I would prefer to trade neither Croshere or Foster.....and would be forced to pick Croshere if push comes to shove....I wouldn't be surprised if Foster is included in a trade with SJax or Tinsley to get the type of 2nd Star that Bird wants to rebuild next to JONeal. About Freddie....I wish we could resign him...but I doubt that the Pacers have the $$$ and therefore the will to keep him.
