I haven't heard anything on the Boston front regarding interest. Big Al and Delonte are huge pieces of the Celts long-term plans, so they are untouchable. The only trade-worthy players (for Artest) would be Blount, Allen, and Banks, but that's about it.
Then Boston can forget it can't see Artest going to the Celts for scaps.
Lets see Tony Allen -legal problems. Marcus Banks out all season after major knee surgery. Mark Blount ,terrible contract , doesn't rebound. No thanks.
If Celts wanted Artest - I'D only ask for their future nothing else. I'd ship Ron as far away as possible for crap before keeping him in east for crap thats what Blount , Allen and Banks currently are.
??? He's on my fantasy team and played last night (from a fantasy perspective he sucked but he played).
It'll be interesting seeing what the Pacers end up settling for with Artest. I don't think it'll be very much but when you have GM's like Isiah Thomas who'll sign Jerome James for mad money, there may be an idiot out there who'd actually give something up of value.
So far though, it looks like the only people willing to give anything up for him are sportswriters.

I'd take Pierce in a heart beat but wouldn't touch Ricky Davis with
a flaming stick. If it would happen i bet you guys would still be
If Pierce could stand it in Boston than i
bet he would love it here. He would spread the floor for JO
and pass out well too. IN anycase it won't happen so let me
just wake up.
I like Tony Allen's game, and Ricky Davis gives us a guy who can score. But both have HUGE attitude problems. Either Pierce or stay dealing with the west teams. No favors for Ainge and your old team, Larry.
Tony Allen could be facing jail time, while Ricky Davis to me is a copy of Stephen Jackson but more athletic and even less defensive minded.
Like I said give me Al Jefferson and West , you can toss Ricky in if you want. All 3 for Ron works cap wise (as I laugh my *** off).
Not going to happen!
One, why would Boston give up Paul Pierce for Ron?
Two, Pierce is reportedly on the market, why? Because Danny Angie wants young guys and draft picks.
The only way the Pacers get Pierce for Ron is to take another teams young guys and ship them to Boston!
Boston has alot of interesting pieces to offer for Ron and they include:
West, Green, Jefferson, and Perkins.
Problem is, from the way Celtics fans have talked, is that these guys, along with Pierce, won't be traded so I see a deal with Boston unlikely.
Is it just me or does a three way with GS giving up young guys (maybe even Dunleavy) to Boston and Boston giving Pierce to us make too much sense to be done?
