I know to some, this might look lopsided, and I know some pieces in the trade are rumored to be "untouchable", but I feel like this trade could help all 3 teams, and be fair to all 3 teams.

Successful Scenario
Due to Golden State, Indiana, and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Golden State, Indiana, and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Now, with this deal, there would most likely be draft picks involved, like possibly the Pacers giving G.S. a future #1.

So, G.S. would get Artest, no need to go over what he will give them, that they currently do not have, Foster, who could be a great backup C and PF, and start at C if needed from injury problems, but as minimally as possible.
Fred would give them a great backup SG to Richardson, and a healthier backup than Pietrus was for them.

They get 2 really good players, and 1 superstar player (when his head is screwed on straight), helping their defense, and keeping their depth, and also ridding themselves of Dunleavy's contract they didn't like, and then that throw-in #1 pick for next year.

Yes they lose a stud in Diogu, but you dont' get a stud like Artest for nothing.

Memphis gets a usable veteran PG, while they figure out what to do permanently scouting for next years draft, and a skilled replacement for Miller, only with more ball handling skills, and in a pinch, could use him as a point forward, for spot minutes, to help alleviate the PG problem.

We balance out our depth a bit, while stockpiling youth for the future, and not taking on any albatross contracts.

Leaving our depth chart with:

PG: Jamaal \ Sarunas \ Gill
SG: Jack \ Pietrus \
Free Agent Signing, or throw-in bench scrub
SF: Danny \ Miller \
PF: Diogu \ Croshere\
Free Agent Signing, or throw-in bench scrub
C: J.O. \ Harrison \Pollard

I just feel like there is benefits to all 3 teams, and is a perfectly realistic deal, although I can see all 3 GM's being reluctant at first.
