Default Clippers not willing to part with Corey

LA Times - The Clippers aren't expected to be finalists in the Ron Artest derby. A source says the team isn't offering Corey Maggette. Indiana reportedly has some interest in Chris Wilcox but wants more.

This problably means there out of the running cause I'm pretty sure Pacers will ask for more but Clippers would force them self not to give up more.

    ugh....

I don't care, take Wilcox and Spicy Chicken Combo from Wendy's Biggie Sized with a Coke.

This is more drama than this team needs, I swear the rest of the league doesn't even notice that we are still playing games. But lately I don't think our players do either.

I'm sorry but that's just wrong and I have to call you out on it. No way Wendy's gives us Biggie Sized fries and a cola. We'd be lucky to get regular sized fries and a cola. You might get them to swap the fries for a small chili.

I agree with you this wait is becoming more retarded by the day... If something is not done this week then I have no choice but to jump off the bridge.

I guess the Clips are happy with just making the playoffs. They have a nice nucleus...but I really thought Artest was a perfect fit to take them to the next level and would make them a legit contender in the West...but I really can't blame them. Who wants to willingly breath in a carcinogen?

If we can find somebody stupid enough to give us a #6 for Ron, we have to pull the damn trigger. No way I'd trade a #6 for Artest, biggie size or not.

    Wilcox = teh suck

No trade with the Clips. Guess that leaves Denver, Minny, the Lakers, and GS.

There's still room on the BCF bandwagon. Just apply to Tim, UB, or Btown for membership.

    Hell no they wouldn't...

But they did say that if the Pacers would throw in Fred Jones that they might be willing to part ways with a medium frosty. Only if they could get the figures worked out.

Chris Wilcox sucks, he is like a Stromile Swift that cant dunk. If we are trading in the West I want Odom or Pietrus + Murphy or whatever the Warriors are sending us. If its a 3 team deal with the Nuggz I want Baby Al.

If it makes you feel any better, the Lakers are now more than willing ot give up Lamar Odom in a 2 or 3 team trade to land Artest.

Well the thing about that is....that Harrison's agent put a clause in his contract that stipulated that any trades involving David would assure his client of his own Biggie Fry, or equivalent sized fry, from any other franchise.

Most places aren't willing to take on that type of asset baggage.

That sucks I guess we might have no choice but to take 2 combo meals for Ron Artest of course if that includes a milk shake.

Since the Clippers are not willing to part with Maggette what about Yaroslav Korolev? I know he is a long term project (prolly another 4 years before he can contribute) but he is a very skilled player.

I don't know that the Clippers will trade him though, I doubt it. It would be kind of hard I think to match up salaries with the Clippers unless Maggette is in the deal anyways.

I can honestly say that you've hardly EVER watched the kid play, nor know anything about what type of a player he is.

If there is one thing the guy can do consistantly, it is dunk, and dunk hard. He was a human highlight reel at Maryland. All he does is rebound and dunk on people. He isn't noted for his horrendous jumpshot.......

Chris Wilcox is a young player who has good talent but I honestly think he's a player who will ride the bench pine his whole career if he's ever going to start it's gonna be with the Nets and he wants go to there cause the Net's system fits with his style of player.
