    Default If Ron really wanted to stay, wouldn't he . .

    just announce publicly that he won't report to any team he's traded to?

    In doing so, no team is going to give up a thing for him. Donnie would have to follow through on his threat to keep him inactive all season, or he would have to let him play. I think Donnie woulld follow through, but I can't imagine the Pacers being able to get barely anything for him if he refused to report to any other team.

    He has to report, its in the CBA. He would be fined and suspended if he didnt report. We need to trade the clown quick he is going to lose any trade value that he has left.

    Can't do that anymore. Plus DW has already made it clear that he will have to sit out.

    That might be, but no team would make the trade under those circumstances.
