    Default wikipedia says Artest traded?

"In 2005, the Pacers got off to an average start. On December 12, 2005, Ron Artest told a reporter for the Indianapolis Star that he wants to be traded, saying "the team would be better off without me". Various Pacers, including Jermaine O'Neal, soon denounced him. The Pacers then put him on their inactive list and are now seeking to trade the troubled All-Star.
On Thursday, December 15th, 2005, the Pacers dealt Ron Artest to Toronto for Morris Peterson, Matt Bonner, and a conditional future 1st round pick."

Is this a hoax or a very early sign? I know that anyone could edit the page and have that listed, so I'm reluctant to believe it, but thought you guys might enjoy more gossip.

God I hope not. You know, after I posted Blahzay's rumor on RealGM it spread like wildfire.

More like "Artest could go to Toronto." Hardly anything definite.

And Wikipedia isn't learning about deals happening before anyone else. Just a joke.

Wikipedia has already been in court over false information, as was reported this past week on a news report from one of the networks.

Yeah, I knew you could edit it yourself, but I was just curious if the culprit knew something we didn't.

It did just say "conditional 1st round pick" .... if it was this year's draft and it's condition was just protecting it as the #1 pick ... I could handle it.

I was only potentially interested in this deal if it brought a Top 3 pick over one of the next two years. Without that, it's not even close to an equitable deal.

IMHO: Nobody knows anything right now, I doubt we see a trade before Saturday. Think of the offers DW/LB have to sort through and if they find something they like you know they will tweak for more.

If it was me I would like to see Rashard Lewis and Radmanovic (who had a great season last year towards the end 16ppg 9rpg) send them Artest and Freddie.
"He wanted to get to that money time. Time when the hardware was on the table. That's when Roger was going to show up. So all we needed to do was stay close"

I just had the greatest idea. Everyone here is consumed about what
the trade is going to be. This would make the best reality TV show.
