"In 2005, the Pacers got off to an average start. On December 12, 2005, Ron Artest told a reporter for the Indianapolis Star that he wants to be traded, saying "the team would be better off without me". Various Pacers, including Jermaine O'Neal, soon denounced him. The Pacers then put him on their inactive list and are now seeking to trade the troubled All-Star.
On Thursday, December 15th, 2005, the Pacers dealt Ron Artest to Toronto for Morris Peterson, Matt Bonner, and a conditional future 1st round pick."
Is this a hoax or a very early sign? I know that anyone could edit the page and have that listed, so I'm reluctant to believe it, but thought you guys might enjoy more gossip.
IMHO: Nobody knows anything right now, I doubt we see a trade before Saturday. Think of the offers DW/LB have to sort through and if they find something they like you know they will tweak for more.
If it was me I would like to see Rashard Lewis and Radmanovic (who had a great season last year towards the end 16ppg 9rpg) send them Artest and Freddie.
