    Default 2.5 mil trade exemption

If I'm not mistaken didn't the Pacers receive a 2.5 mil trade exemption along with the 2nd rounder for James Jones?

If so that added to Ron Artest 6.8mil contract means the Pacers could take back a contract or contracts in the 9.3- 10.5 mil range , without adding other players.

Am I right or am I imagining things?

I believe you to be right, BUT, we'd be adding to our already inflated salary (CAP).
