Are you calling Artest crazy or are you calling the trade crazy?

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

OK, since we're making crazy Artest trades, here's mine. (Also works under Real GM)

    IND sends
    Ron Artest to LAL

    IND gets back
    Al Harrington from ATL

    LAL sends
    Lamar Odom to ATL

    LAL gets back
    Ron Artest from IND

    ATL sends
    Al Harrington to IND

    ATL gets back
    Lamar Odom from LAL

    ------------------

Indiana gets a player familiar with Carlisle's system and who is very good friends with JO (a sure chemistry-booster). Al's stay in Atlanta surely made him appreciate a winning situation, which makes him less likely to bolt after his contract expires. Any team that has enough cap room to sign him would most likely be another crappy team.

LA gets Ron Artest, which is what they wanted. All they give up is a player that wasn't working out for them.

Atlanta gets something for Al Harrington, who surely would've bolted after his contract ended. So they don't lose Harrington for nothing. Odom can probably play the 4 better than Harrington. Or Odom could be traded later a la Rasheed.

    I'd rather have Odom...

I like Al but with Granger here I think he is redundant.
"They could turn out to be only innocent mathematicians, I suppose," muttered Woevre's section officer, de Decker.

"'Only.'" Woevre was amused. "Someday you'll explain to me how that's possible. Seeing that, on the face of it, all mathematics leads, doesn't it, sooner or later, to some kind of human suffering."
