hurt our chances for 16-0? I think it did. Nobody chasing us now.

Screw 16-0. It's all about the ring. My biggest fear is we go 16-0 and lose in the playoffs. Too much pressure.

I do agree with you on that gildawg. 16-0 is not nearly as important as the Super Bowl and I don't like the pressure it puts on a team.

And I'm not sure I like the thought of shutting things down with 3 games to go in the season and also a bye week effectively making it 4 weeks of downtime for what has been a machine on a roll.

Cruising in the last game is one thing, especially when you have no bye, but I'm not sure I would want to risk the momentum this team has right now.

Yes the Super Bowl is the most important thing, but...........

We are the best team in the NFL by alot, if we don't win the Super Bowl it'll be a monumental failure regardless if we are 16-0, 16-1, 2 or 3. I'm not sure the pressure would be any different.

As has been stated by many people, the Colts shouldn't start resting yet due to the fact that they will probably become rusty which would really hurt them in the long run. I can understand the Colts resting their starters last year with them not getting a bye week and also knowing they would face Denver the very next week. But this year they get a bye week, they won't face any of the teams soon after (with the possible exception of Seattle assuming they win the NFC), and they can rest anyone who is mildly injured for these next couple weeks. I think they should just keep playing the way they normally do, and not change their gameplan. They say that oftentimes if you change what you're doing in order to avoid a certain outcome, the chances of that outcome happening actually increase.

when KC beat them, the Jax game was the last one that truly mattered, Denver still would have been in the hunt if we had lost all three of our games to end the season.

No we are going to play all our starters..this week,
I did hear the next few games Sorgi may get a few alternating series perhaps.
Withuot Actually taking over the end of a game so to speak.

The more I hear lately from players and Dungy. It appears more now than ever they are going for it.
