The Colts go 16-0 but don't win the Super Bowl? Will you consider the season a failure?

Of course it would be a failure, isn't the best team supposed to win? By going 16-0 you are the best team, you had better win.

Yeah, it's a failure. They are the most dominating team in the NFL. Forget the record, they should win the championship.

We actually would become a laughing stock. The only team who went undefeated but couldn't win when under the pressure.

Tough question. Personally, I would consider it a failure. I'm not hedging here, but getting TO the Super Bowl is a pretty big deal. Actually, this is the reason I don't want us to go undefeated. There's just too much pressure .

It would have to be considered a failure for all the reasons mentioned. You don't go 16-0 and choke away the title without big injuries.

Definitely a failure. As much as 16-0 sounds nice, I want a title most of all. That's all that's important. I will be most disappointed if we at least don't make the SB this year. But if we do, HOPEFULLY, get there, we get a dome, which means we'd be in good shape. But we must get there.

i'd have to agree, a lot of pressure would be off the colts shoulders if they atleast lose one

so...going undefeated would be awesome, but i wouldnt be heart broken if the colts go into the playoffs with atleast one loss

I would say it would go down as one of the biggest choke-jobs in the history of the NFL. So it's a good thing they're going to lose against Seattle, because I highly doubt they're going to win any playoff games.

    dont forget the cardinals...

they spoiled the vikings season last year, and the year before that they did something else...cant remember, but it made them lose the #1 overall draft pick and be able to pick eli.

They won in the final week one year, losing out on the # 1 pick which happened to be Peyton Manning.

Hmm, a signature change would be acceptable, I suppose. Although it would look wierd to double-up on em.
