Alright, I have the best trade for us. It is a little farfetched but here it is. The salaries work too. Here we go.

    Indiana trades
Ron Artest and John Bender to Boston
    Jamaal Tinsley ot Houston

    Houston trades
Tracy McGrady and Bob Sura to Indiana

    Boston trades
    Paul Pierce to Houston

    Why for Indiana?
We would recieve T-Mac and do I have to explain him. Also we would get a solid bench player in Bob Sura who can play the 1 or 2 spot.

    Why for Houston?
They finally get the PG that they need in Tinsley. Also they still will have the scorer in Pierce.

    Why for Boston?
They recieve Ron ARtest who always out performs Pierce anyways and he would help with their defense. They also get an expiring contract in Bender since he is retiring( I saw it on the New York Post website but i can't find the link because the site the like was on is down now, but i will post it when i find it) so that will free up cap room for them so they can go big in FA to get someone like Ben Wallace.

This trade benefits every team. If this were to go down I think that all Pacers fans would love it. The hardest team to convince would be Boston, but they have to think about the future so they can get Ben Wallace or another big FA. What are your thoughts and opinions on it?

No, I want to keep Tinsley

Houston wouldn't want Pierce over T-Mac

Pierce is playing very well now and they would get the PG they need. I like Tinsley a lot too, but this trade would help us a lot. I think that Sarunas would do fine as the starting PG and if not put in Sura. I have another sig but i can't get to it because the site is down. You will like that one better.

That might work. Only question would be whether Boston would do that trade. They do want to get rid of Pierce, but do they really want Artest? I would think Houston would take Pierce and Tinsley for TMac. I think that is a good deal for Houston. It's a good deal for us, too.

RealGM says it doesn't work due to Tinsley's BYC1

Is there anything else we can give to Boston to even things out?

    This works:

    Jamaal Tinsley
    6-3 PG from Iowa State

    Scot Pollard
    6-11 C from Kansas

    Ron Artest
    6-7 SF from St. John's

    Incoming
    Tracy McGrady
6-8 SF from Mount Zion Christian Academy (HS)

Change in team outlook: -8.5 ppg, -4.7 rpg, and -3.3 apg.

    Boston Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Paul Pierce
    6-6 SG from Kansas

    Incoming
    Scot Pollard
    6-11 C from Kansas

    Ron Artest
    6-7 SF from St. John's

Change in team outlook: -3.9 ppg, -0.4 rpg, and -1.8 apg.

    Houston Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Tracy McGrady
6-8 SF from Mount Zion Christian Academy (HS)

    Incoming
    Jamaal Tinsley
    6-3 PG from Iowa State

    Paul Pierce
    6-6 SG from Kansas

Change in team outlook: +12.4 ppg, +5.1 rpg, and +5.1 apg.

This also works... and I would probably do it:

    Indiana Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Ron Artest
    6-7 SF from St. John's

    Scot Pollard
    6-11 C from Kansas

    Jamaal Tinsley
    6-3 PG from Iowa State

    Incoming
    Paul Pierce
    6-6 SG from Kansas

Change in team outlook: -6.0 ppg, -3.3 rpg, and -3.7 apg.

    Boston Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Paul Pierce
    6-6 SG from Kansas

    Incoming
    Tracy McGrady
6-8 SF from Mount Zion Christian Academy (HS)

Change in team outlook: -2.5 ppg, -1.4 rpg, and +0.4 apg.

    Houston Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Tracy McGrady
6-8 SF from Mount Zion Christian Academy (HS)

    Incoming
    Ron Artest
    6-7 SF from St. John's

    Scot Pollard
    6-11 C from Kansas

    Jamaal Tinsley
    6-3 PG from Iowa State

Change in team outlook: +8.5 ppg, +4.7 rpg, and +3.3 apg.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana, Boston, and Houston being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana, Boston, and Houston had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Ron and Freddie to Seattle for Rashad Lewis and Reggie Evans

Here's the type of trade they can expect (all of these trades work under the CBA too):

    1. Artest/Gill to Dallas for Jerry Stackhouse + future 1st rounder.

If Rick has any say in the matter, this is the trade.

    2. Ron Artest/Pollard to NY for Antonio Davis

I think this is another good possibility

    3. Artest/Tinsley to Toronto for Mo Peterson/Mike James/Eric Williams

I absolutely do not want to trade Jamaal, but this would be a very good trade. Mike James is a Rick Carlisle PG, plain and simple.

    4. Artest/Gill to Sacramento for Bonzi Wells + draft pick (probably 2nd rounder)

    Bonzi?!

5.Artest to New Orleans for PJ Brown + draft pick.

    Won't happen

    6. Artest to Portland for Darius Miles straight up.

Eh. I think Larry's had his fill of HS'ers. Even one's many years removed.

When i did it on realgm it worked for me. The reason i think Boston would do it is because they clear up some cap space. I still cant find the link but i did read it about Bender retiring. Imagine if this trade goes through and then Boston signs Ben Wallace with Artest. That would be funny.

I say we banish Artest to Canada so he can completely lose his mind there. Package him with probably Jackson, Harrison and/or Tinsley and maybe we could snag Chris Bosh, Mo Pete and Mike James in return. Why would the Raptors do it? I don't know, but a franchise that would draft Araujo that high might just bite.
