Bah, slacked off to end the qtr. Fell well short at a score of 40-18.

Sacramento 24 minutes away from clinching a playoff spot.....

watching the Kings halftime feature on the annual Kings carnival at arco arena....

Ron working the "mallet" game stand with this gigantic scary smile on his face...

Looks like the playoff teams may be set after tonight. Only the final seedings remain up in the air.

Sigh of relief. Even though the last couple days we've been pretty safe, I'm still happy.

I'm not....I wished we took the playoff spot instead of being given to us on the leftover plate by the Sixers, Bulls and Wizards.

"As you might expect, it all caused much concern in China among the media and the fans," said Jai Li, a reporter for the World Journal who is based in Houston to cover the Rockets. "At first, there was a great deal of alarm. There were even some people saying the injury could force Yao Ming to retire. I think it has calmed down quite a bit since then." "I just want Yao to recover when he can and become an even better basketball player," Van Gundy said. "I've got enough problems already without being a vicious capitalist pig."

    Amir Johnson, I love you.

    That is all.

He showed more in his 1st major NBA minutes as an 18-year old rookie than Darko showed in 3 years as a Piston.

6-10 SF went out and went 6/6 from the floor, 4/4 from the line. 18 points in 18 minutes.

He hit 2 threes, a floater, an alley-oop, a tip-in and jammed the ball down Joe Smith's throat.

Backup SF next year, starting forward in 3 years.

Intersesting note about the Rebounding title for this year.

    Rebounding Leader:

    1. KG with 966 rebounds in 76 games averaging 12.71 rpg.
    2. Dwight Howard with 1015 in 81 games averaging 12.53 rpg.

Assuming that KG is not playing tomorrow...and he probably won't.....that would mean that Howard would have to pull down 29+ rebounds tomorrow in order to have a "very slight" Rebounding average over KG.

Although 29 rebounds is near impossible...he did pull out 26 rebounds in a recent game....and considering that Foster is out......but JONeal not being a slouch in the rebounding deparment.....I wouldn't be surprised if Howard makes a run for the rebounding title tomorrow against us.

No rebounding battle will ever be as compelling as Charles Oakley vs Michael Cage in 1988....

on the last day, Cage was ahead by 7 boards over Oakley.

Oakley went out and got 35 rebounds.

Cage played later that night, needing 29 rebounds to win the rebounding title, and got 30 himself.

That was some a really fun battle to watch. The highlights alone were incredible.

    I can't tell....are you being sarcastic?

I know 29 rebounds is alot....but considering the way we are in the rebounding department when Foster isn't around.....Howard may not get 29 rebounds....but I can easily see him take down 15+ boards tomorrow...if not more. And you know what happens when we don't rebound well.....we end up losing games that we should win.

Sorry, I wasn't. I thought Kstat's post might shut down what was a legit thing to watch for during the game.

    Halftime

    Bucks - 43
    Wizards - 54

Most of the NBA ESPN shows that I see say that the Wizards are the most likely to advance.

I have them slotted for the 5th spot.
