So who would you rather have? Wade, who is much more clutch but possibly less talented or LeBron?

Oh well, we gave that one away.

Still best record in the NBA.

Miami playe d agreat 4th qtr, but we just choked that one away.

Prince on Wade, Dice on Shaq, two defensive matchups that should never have happened.

And even so, I'll take that wide open 3 prince missed at the end any day of the week.

As for Miami, they needed every break in the book to beat us by a basket, in THEIR building. Fine with me.

Between that last shot by Wade and the missed open three prince had, we were just meant to lose tonight.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Lebrons only problem *to me anyways* is that he plays great for most of a game then chokes at the critical stages.

Maybe it was just me, but I wasn't sure if Prince even got the 3 off in time.

And what a helluva performance by Wade. Dude was unconcious by the end...no one in the building could have stopped that groove he had going on.

Wade is a bigger clutch performer right now but then again he has been in SO many big games (even if you don't count playoff games). Going back to college, even. Kobe was not nearly as clutch as he is today early in his career. My guess is that it will to LeBron too. However, at this stage, one shot for the game I go to Wade over LeBron every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Rip was shutting him down until we switched Prince on him. That's what annoys me.

Rip plays Wade extremely well. Prince is just too slow for him.

Give Wade credit, though. He hit every big shot. I just think we did everything in our power to help him.

I love Wade's attitude too. When are people going to admit that he pretty much has carried this team even with Shaq there? He is easily as important as Shaq by now. He just never says anything to toot his own horn. Heck, Shaq says it more often than anyone else. That he is playing with "one of the world's most talented players."

Yeah, Dwayne does a lot of intangibles too. His numbers aren't as great as Lebrons but he's my favorite NON-Pacer.

Hehe, yeah, true dat. I actually love watching him play too. I remember that series against us his rookie year where he came out of nowhere. We had swept Boston and won two straight against Miami and he saved the series for them. Of course we adjusted and won 4-2 but never again would anyone sleep on Miami or Wade...

Aw yes..the 03-04 season. He gave us quite a thriller. To think he was the 5th pick is crazy funny. (although that draft had some very talented players)

and the best thing is..even though DWade is We still own the Heat. Watching him play is fun, watching him give us a show and we still win is plain great!

He didn't. Wouldn't have counted if it went in.

What I don't understand is why don't you run Sheed and Rip at Wade with about 10 seconds to go, and make Haslem or Anderson beat you. You just let Prince hang out to dry. I'd rather have Haslem or Anderson shooting a layup than Wade shooting at all in that situation.

I'd have to agree with that. How many shots did Wade make in the last three minutes? Five? I don't even think he missed. Miami is a glorified two-man team...was last year and still is this year. The key to beating them is forcing Wade to give it up and not letting Shaq get touches. That's what you guys did in the last five minutes of game 7 last year. Despite the trades and signings, I'm not really scared of Antoine Walker, Gary Payton, James Posey, and Jason Williams in the 4th quarter. Last year against Boston I was almost rooting for Walker to get the ball so he could choke and miss yet another lay-up against us. Him getting suspended was not good for us. Jefferson played better and tougher and missed a lot less shots.

    Agreed.

Like I said, we made way too many damn defensive mistakes.

"Wade scored Miami's final 17 points in a dazzling 100-98 comeback win over Detroit."

Um...I'm pretty sure that if you looked up ridiculous in the dictionary, Dwyane Wade's picture would be right there. Is it weird that this impresses me more than 81 points?
