    Ron Artest......POINT FORWARD......

I never thought I'd see Ron running an offense....he reminded me a lot of Anthony Mason (when he was in NY) tonight. Did a good job of it, too. Posted up, consistently found open cutters.

Andrew Bynum abused Eddy Curry in a Laker blowout tonight.

7/7 16 points, 4 rebounds in just 12 minutes of play. Not bad at all. He's got a bright future.

Here's my random thought....I think the NBA Finals are gonna be Pistons and the Mavs. The Mavs will beat the Spurs in the 2nd round of the playoffs where they will likely face the Suns.
CableKC, I want to agree with you, but I can't....................yet.

I want to see what a fully healthy Mavericks do against the Spurs if they meet eachother in the playoff *which I think will happen*.

When everyone gets healthy, I want to see Devin Harris man the pg instead of Jason Terry and see how that goes. From what I heard, the Mavs aren't all that happy with Terry at PG. I think hes been doing an OK job, but I know we can do better than 3-4 assists a game.

I guess we'll see what happens come playoff time.

He did that two years ago when Anderson was starting. Started from the elbow and either passed out of the double, or if they didn't double went to the basket. Wasn't the smoothest offense to watch but it worked.

Cavs had won 7 straight. They're also a terrible road team. They were due.

I don't have to think they will meet in the playoffs....I am 99% sure that they will.

Both the Spurs and Mavs will have the 2 best Western Conference records....and since both are in the same division....that means either of them will be in the 1st or the 4th seed in the West...which means...they will meet in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Avery Johnson has actually instilled the Mavs with playing some team defense. The Spurs may play better defense then the Mavs.....but there is something different about the Mavs this season. Although the Spurs can put up alot of points....I don't think they can do it on a regular basis in a 7 game series...much less against a Mavs team that can play respectable ( if not slightly above average ) defense and put up 100+ points a game.

The Pistons are 1 of 2 teams in the League that is in the top 10 on the offensive AND defensive end.....guess which team is the other one? The Mavs.

Man, the Knicks look freakin' awful. It was actually painful for me to watch that game in its entirety.

Why does Channing Frye not get more minutes? He doesn't even start! He can't be worse than Eddy Curry and Mo Taylor both. He is a legit player and big guy. Come on LB!

This is up there on my "mad at teams for stupid decisions though I don't really care about the teams but the decisions are so stupid it hurts" list. Right below the Hawks not taking old man Chris Paul because at some point Marvin Williams is going to develop a lot more potential than Chris Paul has.

Well, he probably should get more minutes but we tried starting him for a while in Dec and that didn't work at all. He seemed nervous starting games, couldn't hit a shot, picked up fouls.

But he should get 25-30 mpg IMO. Now that AD's gone we'll see him and Lee more.

At least for this one game you can say that if Marbury played we probably win - TO's killed us. I've heard that a lot lately and haven't bought it but it's true for last night.

Plus (and you guys who haven't followed the Knicks may have to brace yourselves for this one) before his injury, Marbury was our best perimeter defender - and it wasn't ONLY because everyone else sucked so bad.

Sorry to hear that. At least Jalen's there to help him out.

Good God, Troy Murphy is trash if we traded for this man I would lose it. I never really pay attention to it much but a warrior friend of mine said the guy is a black hole so I started to just look at what he does when he gets the ball. And so far tonight he has not passed the ball on offense ONCE.

I never wanted him either. In fact, I don't think anyone wanted this guy to come here.

I thought it was Michaël Pietrus/Ike Diogu that was mostly wanted?
