    Anything important?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Rick said if Granger hadn't fallen to us, he truly believes Donnie and Larry would have found a way to keep JJ.

He then said that he expected Bender to be able to play against Miami, considering he only played 8 minutes against Orlando, but since he couldn't, they activated Eddie for backcourt help. Even though Rick acted rather blase about the whole thing, during the 7:30 news report, Bball demanded a special prosecutor be appointed to look into the "culture of corruption surrounding Coach Carlisle's administration."

No, his knees are perfectly fine. Can't you hear his evil cackle reading Bball's thread while he throws stacks of money into his fireplace.

This was funny, but I heard he hurt the knee due to overcompensating on the right knee due to his wallet throwing off his balance.

Oh, well, I guess that makes sense.

Thanks MR, I had to be out all evening and was hoping you'd get this up for us. I'll try to catch it tomorrow as it is too late tonight, how long will it be up?

The last caller talked about the lack of respect that the Colts and Pacers have gotten from the national media, and that he hopes one of the teams wins it all so that they can shove it up the national press's "hinies".

Rick's reply was (paraphrasing) "I don't notice anyone on our bandwagon right now. Ask Manning, Dungy, James, Oneal, Artest [or anyone else] and they will tell you that respect has to be earned. We know that just because we have some of our guys back this year, it doesn't gaurantee anything.... "

This next part is word for word:

"The road to respect and redemption is a long and tedious one and it should be. It's not easy and it shouldn't be easy. And the strength that you gain from the struggle is what's going to make it all the more worthwhile once you get to where you want to go."

This is the best thing I've heard on one of these shows in quite a long while, and summarizes my attitude about the team completely. Respect must be earned. Beautiful.

Yeah, after a short lull, the Bender jokes are starting to...

Oh, you meant the Carlisle show. Yeah, that was good too.
