Jefferson ejected after scuffle in second half

    November 2, 2005
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson was ejected in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's game after a scuffle with Mo Williams of the Milwaukee Bucks.

With 4:45 left in the game and the Bucks leading 92-79, Jefferson and Williams got into the altercation after Jefferson got tangled up with Milwaukee's T.J. Ford and both players fell to the court.

Somehow, the Celtics have built a 15-point lead IN OVERTIME.

    Good luck, Larry.

Philly's defense is laughable, at best. They are going to IMPLODE, mark my words.

Atta way to give credit to our new offense, shade

Our bench looked excellent tonight. We just wore them down with our depth.

Sheed went out, billups went out for a long time, Tay went out, we neevr skipped a beat.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I just call it as I see it, Stats. Even I could hit the wide open jumpers Detroit had tonight.

Point is, last year's team wasn't creating those open jumpers.

Is Philly a very good team? No. But we never had the offensive flow against even the bad teams that we did tonight. Our bench enables guys to stay fresh throughout the game.

Another sterling job by the AP.

Jeff pushed TJ in the face coming up the court, then a couple steps later, gave him a forearm to the neck that sent him reeling. Ford took exception, then Maurice jumped in. They were right on the T's, but no way Ford should have gotten a foul. So, the lesson, once again, is NBA refs suck.

Kobe just hit the game-winner in Denver. Nugz start out 0-2. What a wacky first two days so far.
