I hope he does well, by all accounts he's a great person and basketball player..

so far he's played Five Minutes for a one Assist and missed his only FG attempt

Not a bad deal for him eh? He goes from a limited bench roll to a starting guard on one of the best teams out west.

JJ = Most Improved Player of the year award at end of season.

I don't think he'll be starting once amare gets back. it's good to see that he is playing well.

    Wish we'd kept him.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I wasn't impressed with JJ at all. He's a spot up shooter. When Dallas forced him to put the ball on the ground he was helpless.

Yeah he is the best replacement for Q they can come up with. Too bad he is half as versatile. At least Q could dribble.

Well, if the Suns bothered to play defense maybe they probably would have won.

Suns actually played great D....for 3 quarters. And not to mention the game probably would have been over if not for the "block" of shawn marion that was clearly a blatent hack with couple minutes left before Dallas had completely come back. Would have made the lead six, instead, dallas got the ball, made a three and the lead was 1.
