I thought we played like crap for 70%+ of the game, but we flat out FOUGHT for this win, and in the end got the W. I'm actually quite proud of us being able to pull this one out when the odds were stacked against us.

If we can display this type of fight and spirit in the playoffs with a healthier team, we can go very far.

btw, Ron had 8 steals tonight!

Ron nearly had a 5x5 tonight. 20 points, 8 rebounds, 8 steals , 5 assists, but only 2 blocks . Artest sucks, trade him. ed:
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I hope before Ron retires he has a game like this, and I say this because he is capable

    Pts - 15
    Rebs - 10
    Steals - 10
    Assists - 10
    Turnovers - 10

You know, I think I have noticed something interesting.

Our bench gets much acclaim, but not as much as it deserves.

I noticed that when we are all healthy, the bench doesn't get enough time to use their potential. So it's not always consistant.

But if someone gets hurt, the bench ALWAYS, ALWAYS plays well. This is why we are such a great and dangerous team.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Waaaayyy too many minutes for our second-string backcourt. Thanks goodness Croshere gave us a jumpstart because we really struggled to score with our B-team in the game.

Nineteen minutes for Fred and 23 minutes for AJ. That'll get us beat soon.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

Tinsley was in foul trouble all night reason AJ played so much.

I've said it before, but next year I'd like to see Freddy get all of the backup PG minutes. AJ stopped PRETENDING to play the point in the second half, and instead passed the ball to Freddy before crossing the half-court line. Artest can play more minutes at SG, which opens up more minutes at forward for Bender.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I know, but I'd rather trust him to not get further into foul trouble than spend 23 mintues of AJ-induced torture.
