Thread: How Do you Think of Things?

  1. #1

Default How Do you Think of Things?

I remember having a talk awhile back with this teacher and we were dicussing how we see things in our mind. For example, when I picture the days of the week I think of it from Sunday to Friday and Saturday to the side, like this:

    Sunday
    Monday
    Tuesday
    Saturday Wednesday
    Thursday
    Friday

Or When I Think about the alphabet or numbers I imagine it like I saw the very first time in kindergarten, posted around a room.

is that weird? Do other people imagine simple things like that physically in their mind?

    Or,

when you see who's viewing a thread, do you imagine them all racing to post, or sitting and watching things unfold?

Or, When you imagine Uncle Buck posting, do you imagine John Candy sitting at a computer?

That days of the week thing didn't work out because of the forum set up but imagine those other 6 days of the week in a row and saturday to the left side of it.

    Its funny.

I have my own images of members here, even if I have never seen them before.

But what you describe isnt all that unusual, the human mind is a very mysterious thing...

yeah, I imagine Anthem as Monk

Indytoad-as a total computer freak that has really thick horn rimmed glasses

    Pacers#1fan-as a mini Larry Bird ( Why I don't know)

Jay-as a guy who wears khaki shorts, a baseball cap, and carries a clip board
I saw this guy at a cross country meet one day who I almost PM'd Jay about to ask if it was him, he had the shorts, the hat, and a Larry Bird Jersey.

Kstat- I see a Cartoon Rip Hamilton

Soup is Good- I see a teen version of the Soup Nazi

there are a bunch more that I can't think of right now, most of them though, really don't have much to do with avatars.

Honestly? I never really thought of you. If I had to describe what I think (its usually just something that pops in my head) I have you as a young guy who is a little hip but a little nerdy, tall but lean, and thinking for several minutes before you make any post.

But then again, some people say I am weird, so maybe Im just crazy in the head....
Ehh I dunno abut thinking when posting thing...
