Truthfully and quite honestly, is this our year? I know that I will say that every year is our year, that's just the cub fan inside of me, but something just seems right.
With all of the reports of how great Danny is, I can't help but be really excited. There are so many reports about the Pacers having the deepest roster in the league, and that's pretty much the truth. We have a great rotation, I feel so confident in all our players. Every postion really seems to have a great back-up option.
I think that the best part of our team is just how versatile our players are, Ronnie's looking into the PF, Danny has said to be able to play 4 postions, Freddie can play PG if we really need him to, JB if he can stay healthy looks promising at PF, and Jax can play 2 or 3.
Maybe I'm just a hopeful fan, but being the Reggie Miller obesessive fan that I am, being this positive for this season seems right.
The only hurdle I feel that we really have to get over is Detroit, just because of their undeniable full line-up. Miami is very questionable at this point. Phoenix may really notice the loss of Johson, Amare could be seriously injured, and they will never win a championship without improving their D. Chicago, who I personally thought was very promising at the end of last season, I'm not sure of anymore.
I might being looking through biased eyes, but we've got it, I feel it, but the question is, will we use it?
Life without water is tough, life without air is hard, life with one leg only is wobbly, Life without Reggie Miller, is impossible.
