As much as I have said that the guy possibly cost us two finals appearances, I agree. Sign the guy up. Then trade for Al. It'll be like the good ole' days. He's still got gas in the tank and if you bring both in, AD's veteran presence and hopefully Al has grown up a bit it would be a great opportunity for the Pacers (IMHO).

I thought that when this scenario happens, a player can't rejoin his former team for a period of time, a la Gary Payton and the Celtics last year??

Am I crazy? (Don't answer that)

He can't sign for his former team for 20 days if the trade occurs in the offseason or 30 days while the season is being played.

aha....hence the reason for the sentence stating that he will rejoin the team later this month....

    thanks!

Davis would be great for any team without a long term contract. At this point of their careers I'd take Tony over Dale if I'm not paying Tony the last year of his contract.
"They could turn out to be only innocent mathematicians, I suppose," muttered Woevre's section officer, de Decker.

"'Only.'" Woevre was amused. "Someday you'll explain to me how that's possible. Seeing that, on the face of it, all mathematics leads, doesn't it, sooner or later, to some kind of human suffering."

I believe Fowlkes, Johnsen and Haslip all signed multi year, multi billion dollar deals with the Knicks.

Hulk's Great but a little more help especially from Tony wouldn't be bad...
