I swear to you, I think I throw harder than he does. I know I throw a baseball 90+ MPH. I think I can sling a football harder than Pennington as well.

If you throw a 90 mph fastball, then I'd bet you throw a football harder than a lot of people.

But I agree, Penn has a wimpy arm.

I am not a big fan of Pennington either but I think Rotator Cuff surgery may have something to do with velocity...

True, but he never threw very fast before then either.

True he never was a gun slinger type QB before, but he at least had the long ball throw to some degree , he really is not even close to 100%, he really looks like he has not healed fully...

Wow. Our D is freaking beast and we're 3-0 and all you guys do is cry because Peyton didn't throw any TD's.

I'd rather win the Super Bowl than score 30+ points a game, but I guess thats just me.

'Toad, you never cease to amaze me. Yeah, our schedule is pretty easy, and none of these games even matter.

right , all the accolades our offense had last year and what good did it do us in January? nadda ....... Peyton completed most of his passes,.. it's copycat league so every D we face this year is going to go to something similar to 8 in the box forcing tough coverage and limited big plays.. Peyton will adjust our offense will be fine. and our D is a monster right now.....

Then maybe you should go to New York and beat out Fiedler for the chance to kick Pennington to the bench.

I would still like to see Manning get a least 1 TD pass a game.

It is a bit disconcerting that Manning can't get a single TD pass at home, against a couple of mediocre defenses. I do like that he's finally concentrating on the run more, but come on. I dunno what Pittsburgh and New England are going to do to him, but it won't be pleasant.

While I could care less about the lack of TD passes, that's really my only concern about the offense right now.

If Peyton can't at least get one TD on these less than average ( ) defenses, whats he going to do against the Steelers or the Patriots?

Was that a trolling question? Didn't seem particularly antagonistic to me.

I saw a few Colts discussing the same subject on another board, in fact.

The rest of your post was alright, but what I bolded was something that's common in your game thread posts. Anybody could tell the Jaguar's D is far from mediocre, but you still say this stupid stuff to reverse karma, **** people off, I don't know, but it's annoying as hell. And it was branded as trolling once in a Pacer game thread.

The Jags allowed 14 and 20 points in the two other games they've played...that's all right, but it's not the world class, struggle to get a TD defense that the Colts made it look like.

The thing is, toad, we aren't going to score a lot anyway against them. So it isn't a big deal. If we are able to get our running game going, things will turn out find. Pittsburgh isn't going to be as tough as most people think if they blitz as much as they normally do. Peyton is terrific in throwing the ball against the blitz, as he kills Denver every time. Cleveland blitzed only once today, and Peyton burned them for 51 yards to Wayne. So if they do that, I'm not too concerned. As for NE, if we play like this, we can beat them. I really do think this grind it out style helps us in the long run. Peyton will eventually start finding ways around the double coverage on the outside. The short passes and runs help.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
