You can beat the entire Left 4 Dead story line in 4 hours, and the online experience isn't anything to write home about.

Peck, if you mentioned Elder Scrolls Oblivion because you liked that game, and you don't already have Fallout 3, you NEED to get it. Same folks that made Oblivion, and it's a great and long game. I've got over 50 hours wrapped in it and doubt I'm halfway through. Tons of sidequests and character building to keep you busy.

Admittedly, I'm not going to go back and read 13 pages of dialogue, so forgive me if this has already been discussed, but would anyone be interested in starting an NBA 2k9 league?

Xbox. Which it seems most on here use. And you can be the Pacers if you want a record similar to theirs.

So wrong. L4D might be the best online FPS experience I've had since the glory days of Quake 2. And that's hard to admit as someone who works for a competitor to Valve haha

    I was being sarcastic.

Seriously, I know everyone doesn't enjoy the same video games as me.

Just got my copy of FO3 in the mail. So far I have left the vault and am enroute to find my father at the radio station. So far it's a pretty good game. However it does have somewhat of a feel of Elder Scrolls to it, so I think the more I play the more I will like.

Trust me, it sucks you in. The sheer size of the game is stunning. What's even more stunning is that there are literally hundreds of ways to configure your character and play the game accordingly. I'm convinced it's a game that would be nearly impossible to see everything on your way through. A great website to check out if you're ever in a bind is The Vault . Tons of info there. I wouldn't do the walkthrough sections unless you're just stuck and need a nudge. But they have tons of great advice on character building. Stuff like which perks to take at which levels depending on what type of character you are wanting to build or how you want to play. The character I have right now is high on sneak, lockpick, and small guns. The perks I have chosen makes him lethal on headshots. You'll have to keep us posted on how well you end up liking it. I only have one friend that got it and is no longer playing it. The rest are still playing it as much as I am. Plus there's already one downloadable episode available with plans for two more, and one of those will raise the level cap from 20 to 30. I can't wait. This $60 was EASILY the best value I've ever gotten in gaming.

I would've gotten one, but I just got my DS last year (I knew at the time DSi was coming, but I didn't feel like paying the extra...though now I think it would be worth it).

The only downside is that it does not have a GBA port on it. Most would find that a downside, but I don't have, let alone play Game Boy Advance games anymore...

Well if they need to play GBA games, then they can use their GBA. Otherwise, it's been a long time since GBA, so the important parts are the DS games and SD slot. I think it's nice that they have downloadable games now. That would really be a good reason to purchase a DSi.

    I now officially hate you.

This game was the worst mistake I have made in my life. I sat down to play it for a little bit on Saturday and when my wife came home I had been setting there for 10 straight hours.

Needless to say this was like giving crack to an addict.

On the other hand, I do love the game. But I fear it will be my downfall.

I put a solid 80+ hours in FO3 on one character and still haven't done everything there is to do. That game isn't like crack, it is crack.

Peck I'm surprised you didn't know that was coming. I've put ~120 hours into Oblivion and still haven't done everything. The games are just too big.

My 360 is currently in Texas for repairs because of this game. I hate Bethesda for making me play FO3.
