Default TO asked to leave Eagles Camp

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2130735

I think they are going to trade him. Reid asked him to leave they dont have anything eles to do with him then trade him if they dont want him around.

His loss. Man I'm so glad Marvin is a quiet guy
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I was just hearing on the radio that the story now is he left of his own accord, not the other way around. What a tool.

He'd just distract the Titans rebuilding process, probably.

Personally I'd refuse to trade him. He wants to be an *** hole he can just park his butt on the bench. If he doesn't show up for practices and games, don't pay him.

If the Eagles do try and trade him I wouldn't be dump enough to trade for him. No football player is worth this much drama.

So you would rather lose then have him play?

They won before he got there and they lost in the Super Bowl with him. If T.O. is the only player that can make a team a winner than I don't know why the rest of the league just doesn't fold up and go home.

When you lose your 2nd WR to a season ending injury and you cut your 3rd best one because of distractions kind of like TO has. And you run out of WR's how the hell are they supposed to win? They cant throw it to Westbrook 30 times a game.

    I agree with Grace.

I think the Eagles owner is RIGHT ON. TO signed a contract he didn't like to get out of SanFran, now he should have to live with it. I've grown increasingly weary by all these spoiled little boys in a grown-up's body thinking the world owes them something more than they are already getting. It is indicative of his character that he went home and was doing situps on a weight bench IN HIS DRIVEWAY, laughing and smiling amid a horde of reporters with helicopters circling. WHAT AN A$$HOLE.

I would bring him back to camp and make his a$$ do the most menial tasks possible; the real ***** work. If he doesn't like it, QUIT!!!! Go ahead you lily-livered POS, QUIT!!!! Make his workout partner the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket (I love that guy!). If he had a problem with it, he could go home. He wouldn't be getting any more paychecks, that's for sure. See if you can feed your family now, beyotch.

It would be a sterling statement to all players with TO's attitude if he was simply cut and no one else signed him. The NFL doesn't need TO; it's the other way around whether he (or anyone else) wants to admit it or not. Unfortunately, a number of teams that are trying to pick themselves up by their bootstraps would jump at the chance to land his talent, even if his dumbass head comes with it....Unfortunate, indeed.

Until teams realize that they have the power and that sometimes you have to bite the bullet and do what's right for the sake of BEING RIGHT, players like Mr. Idiot will continue to hold franchises hostage, to the media's delight.....

    FCUK T.O.

I wouldn't take him if he played FOR FREE.

According to ESPN radio, TO told the WR coach, who is also the offensive coordinator, that he shouldn't speak him, unless TO spoke to him first.

That takes some balls. To tell the man who calls your number that he can't speak to you, unless spoken too.

I expect him to be cut/traded soon. There's no room for that.

This guy doesn't deserve to be a pro athelete. I wish they could revoke his pay.

Which leads me to John Clayton's story.

The Eagles knew Owens could be trouble. They put clauses in his $49 million to protect themselves for situations like Wednesday. According to his contract, Owens could be forced to pay back $1.725 million of his $2.3 million signing bonus if he's involved in any incident that is considered conduct detrimental to the team.
    But.......

While the Eagles can't let Owens win by having his way in getting a new contract or his release, the two sides need to part ways after the season. He has a $7.5 million roster bonus that was purposely negotiated as a way to either firm up the relationship or simply say two years was enough.
Why wouldn't they just cut him? I'm under the impression that NFL contracts aren't guarunteed.

Heard the same thing on Colin Cowherd or whatever his name is. That probably crossed the line of common decency.

That's what I thought. So why do they have a 7.5mil buyout option after 2yrs? The only reason I can think of, is his reaction to the team's clause about conduct determential to the team. He still comes out of it with more than 6mil.

If it looks like a rat, smells like a rat, then by golly it's T.O.
