Default Blue & Gold Continuity with #13...HULK MAD!

It's time to see Sarunas in a Pacers uniform...but will Hulk let him get away with #13?

Hulk better not have to give up his number. He had it first.

Some people care a lot. I believe recently a football player paid quite a bit of money to the kicker of his new team so that he could have the number. I also heard that the player didn't pay up and that the kicker sued him.

Saras should be 26, so he'll be twice the player he was in Euro.

Harrison and Saras should share it as long as they are never on the floor at the same time. Just have a velcro Patch with the number and you are good to go!!

Depends on how you look at it. Sarunas is older, had a better career, won some titles in his past leagues, and has worn the # longer than David.

Very true...I made a few changes to my original image, as David was angry!

Nope. David's been a Pacer longer and has accomplished more in the NBA than Sarunas. The number is his.

Yes, but David was good enough to actually be drafted.

Barring injury, I'll bet that David makes at least 3 times what Sarunas makes over his entire carreer.

Let's see... David's a real center on his first NBA contract and came to the NBA from college...

Saras is on his first NBA contract and is 29 years old (Altho it is a FA contract and not a rookie contract)...

I'd say you are correct. The NBA loves big centers. His value will be very good if he can just play average (for his size) and if he can play above average we won't be able to afford him in a couple of years

And he should have several NBA years left.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

David may be younger and not have as much to show for his career but there is one thing that he does have on Sarunas and that thing is seniority with the Pacers. I would say one of them could just flip the number and turn it into 31 but that is a sacred number in Indiana. Hopefully this will not be something to fight over (but I think I know who would win).

Thanks for explaining that one out, you followed my line of thinking all the way ... to a point.

Here's where we differ a little: I think we'll be able to afford him just fine.

Bender, Cro and Pollard will all be off the books by then, and it depends on what we do with the money. If we spend it on free agents, we may have to choose between Artest and Harrison, provided both are still here. If we don't, the sky's the limit provided Harrison proves he's worth it beofre then.

Now that I think about it, I can't think of why this has to do with who gets #13.

But no matter what Saras is being Paid. I think by years end he will be more "valuable to the team no doubt". Money does not equal talent as we all know.

As with other similar situations...they will get together over dinner, Saras will bribe Hulk and Hulk will have a new number. The bigger star always gets his way, and I promise you...If Bird recruited him to be our FA, Saras is considered the bigger star.

    You made Hulk look dumb.

Saras will change numbers, Hulk has been in the NBA longer.
