    Default Any rumblings on Tinsley?

Sorry if this is being discussed elsewhere, but I'm curious if people want Saras to start (the money says he is a starter) or if we continue to start Tinsley and bring him off the bench...

Big man for Tinsley trade in the works?

Drop Croshere, deal Tins and Fiesty?

Barring injuries Tinsley is a proven PG that fits this team well.
I think management will wait and see for a bit if Saras can make the transition.

While I wouldn't be suprised if Tinsley is traded I think that Saras will get starter minuates as a backup at the 1 and 2.

Agreed the Indy Star and others are already saying he will be our Sixth man which make sense to me. Also why does everyone want to trade Foster, he is integral to us he and davis are our only true great rebounders, Otherwise we are going to get creamed on the boards

I agree about Foster, but hypothetically, the only position I see trading for at this point (again, IF we were to deal Tins) would be at the Center position.

Anyway, I guess I like the option of having Saras backup both the 1 and 2, although I'm most intrigued by his PG skills. Having him on the floor will be nice.

Granger, Bender, Artest and Saras all "additions"!!!!

IMO the guys who are on the trade bubble are Freddie, JJ and AJ - not Tinsley. If Saras pans out there's no place in the rotation for any of them.

Yes although I can see a Foster and Freddie Trade for a backup PF.
We dont need an all star just someone who can fill in rebound, defend and back up JO any scoring from him would be gravy. Udonis Haslem comes to mind although he is already signed just that type of player.

I think now Croshere will be dropped...

Uhmmm... I like Udonis, but I like to think we could get a little better for both Foster and Freddie. I do aggree he does fit the bill pretty well of what we need to backup JO at PF.

I wonder if we could swing a deal with New Orleans to get who, in my opinion, would be a perfect fit here coming off the bench: PJ Brown.

I know this would never happen, but Bender + Freddie works for PJ. Any other ideas out there? Anyone else think PJ would be the perfect guy to get as our backup PF/C?

I don't think Tins is on the block. We are trying to upgrade the pg play and Saras and Tins is a better that Saras and AJ.

if the 3.5 mil is starters money then they'd better make damn sure Tins starts, as he makes close to twice as much

Yeah i like the PJ brown move A LOT. Veteran presence, good basketball IQ, overall sound ROLE PLAYER.

    PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Basically we need to move Fred/one of our bigs for a solid Jermaine backup...I think that is the only move we are going to see.

I really hope Tins is here to stay. Getting rid of him is a joke, I guarantee IF we trade Tinsley...he makes the all star team. It's doubtful he can ever make it behind Ron/JO. But he is an all star caliber player, we're not trading him.

Funny how we have 4 all star caliber players on our roster. I mean shoot make Sjax the focus on offense and he can easily put up all star numbers and his D is great.

    We are too good.

i read somewhere that Saras is almost more of a SG... I think he'll be more of a non-starting Reggie replacement more than anything...
