BCon, I have one of those wierd weekends. My cousin's 50th birthday party Saturday night followed on Sunday by my Mother-in-law's ?? birthday fiesta....AT MY HOUSE. Can't slip out of either one. I really would have liked to meet ya, although my therapy is still ongoing after meeting some of the forum regulars at the last get together..
Hey! What're you kicking me for? You want me to ask? All right, I'll ask! Ma'am, where do the high school girls hang out in this town?

If you are looking for pizza, Donatos could be an option too on 96th
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Your mother-in-law's birthday party at your house? Hey, at least you can use those "brownie points" when explaining to the Mrs. why you're staying up to 3 am during fantasy basketball season researching the latest can't miss prospect out of the Croatian League!

Seriously though, I'm sorry you won't be able to make it, it would have been fun to finally get to meet you after all the years at IS, PD, and the leagues.

You have that video feed setup for 2 way interaction? Just don't try to steal the Pizza King waitress from Magic Rat or he will be headed to the green zone.

BWW sounds good, I think that place won't have any of the Sunday crowd, they have long tables, and are already set up for groups, and not require any notification in advance, they have pretty good food on the menu, and regular soft drinks, and it's not too far from the original location of Pizza King.
Alright, let's go ahead and officially set the details:

    Day and Time:
Sunday, July 31, Noon to ?

    Place:
    Buffalo Wild Wings
    8440 Castleton Corner Dr.
    Indianapolis, IN 46250
    Phone: 317-577-BWWW (2999)

    Mapquest Link to location

Please post in this thread if you're definitely/maybe planning to come, and I'll try to keep the list updated.

Well Peck and I were gonna see if we couldn't make a surprise visit tonight. As for Sunday at noon we will be eating at Sonny's BBQ in Orlando, FL. Have a good time guys.
How awesome! Sonny's is the bomb! We try to schedule trips to places that have a Sonny's! Eat some chicken for me and ribs for Mr. MPB! I am SOOOOO envious! If you are driving to Florida, I can tell you some cities that have a Sonny's there. LOL
I wish they would open one up in Muncie or Indy. Oh an by the way, have fun in Orlando!

Unless I get called into work mega-early, I'll be there for at least 2-3 hours. I'm supposed to be in at 5, and work just down the street.

I've never been to BWW. How will I know where you're all sitting? Do they take your name at the door, or what?

How do you plan to meet up? Is it a big place or small?

It's not really that big of a place. Bigger than Pizza King, but you should still be able to find us pretty easily.

Hey guys, as you're talking a bit about restaurants in this thread i'd like to ask you something.

When a Pacers game is on TV, the local (french) broadcasters always (I mean, really every time) talk about a place called Steack'n'Shake, and how this is a horrible place, that the food is terrible, etc. but they say that it's the only place where you can eat after a bball game.

Would you tell me a little more about this?

Steak N' Shake is not bad at all. I haven't eaten there in a while, but only because I rarely eat out. It's one of my favorite pseudo fast-food places.

Thanks, I guess they are very demanding on food so I'm gonna send them an e-mail to tell them to check this thread out to find nice places to eat for when they come here this year for the Finals

The best food places are generally downtown. My current fav is probably Champions.

I hope to check this out by myself, when I come to Indy, one day.

Anyway, thanks for the explanation on Steak'n'shake, I now feel like an insider

Steak N' Shake is a very good place to eat for a notch above regular fast food. I love getting a Frisco Melt with a shake w/ fudge.

Well, I'm looking forward to meeting with whomever is able to make it out to BWW tomorrow at noon. I'm also looking forward to chowing down on some tasty buffalo wings - BWW's has always been my favorite, and they don't have any locations in the Boston area.

As with the past PD get-togethers, please stop by to say hi even if you haven't "RSVP'd", and even if you can only stay a few minutes.

Pretty sure I can't make it - just got home from the office about half an hour ago and have to spend more time there tomorrow unfortunately. I'll catch you another time BC.

So do they take your name, or do you just walk in and find yourself a seat?

It's pretty much just order some food and find a place you want to sit, almost like a sports bar. IIRC, they don't really have waitresses, which is what burnzone was making a reference to in his earlier post.
