    Default 76'ers resign Dalembert

Not a big surprise or something. Just another piece off the open market. Phillie as mentioned has a big payroll too btw.

"Dalembert, 76ers agree to new deal

    By Ian Thomsen, SI.com

The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a six-year contract late Saturday with restricted free agent center Samuel Dalembert, his agent Marc Cornstein told SI.com. Salary figures were not immediately available.

Dalembert had been scheduled to interview Monday with the Atlanta Hawks, who possessed enough cap space to make him a maximum offer.

With this agreement, the 76ers have made good on their promise to re-sign free agents Dalembert, Willie Green and Kyle Korver. They also now have one of the highest payrolls in the NBA."

Yup. They were ~$70M before these 3 signings.

Considering they still have 2 years left on Mashburn, MacCulloch, and Jackson, and 3 years on Webber and McKie, they'll really be hurting if these youngin's don't pan out. Though, I assume MacCulloch will be taken off with the injury exception.

Anybody have a grasp on what the final number will be?

The Sixers payroll isn't as bad as it seems. Todd Mac's contract comes off the cap in December and Mashburn's salary is 80% paid by insurance and is off their cap in January because he officially retired but they may use his expiring/retiring contract in a trade.

Yeah, I forgot Mash will come off too. You're right, that's not that bad.
