I agree. I wonder who kept telling the kick returner to keep fielding balls in the corner at the 2 year line over and over.

    Bad call.

Yeah, if there's one troubling thing special teams in general were a disaster. On the blocked field goal they had him take a shallow snap because they didn't think he had the leg for it.

A lot closer than I thought it would be but it ended the way I expected it to as well.

That being said I think the Boilermakers will be well improved this year.

we...we...may be legitimately not terrible. real good showing against a ranked team on a neutral field and now we're doing what a Big Ten team should do against a MAC team

Great win. Love that trick play.

    Mizzou will be really tough.

Feels amazing to get a win coming off that good showing against the Cardinals. I hope we keep this up. Just show up and play hard and look competent. That's all I ask.

I would of liked to see this one against Michigan or Mizzou.

I really want to see Purdue beat Missouri today. If they beat Missouri, 7-4 or 6-5 is not out of the question. Plus being 2-1 with Michigan coming into Ross Aide. RA will be lit again.

they beat Mizzou I'll really actually start believing Brohm's already fixed this thing already. and Mizzou's just pretty average, so it's not a huge ask or anything. just still on the fence thinking well y'know Brohm knows Petrino better than anybody so it makes sense he could keep that close, and hey we beat a solid MAC team so that's cool and all, but still not completely convinced.

    I'm thinking the same

Mizzou is not a bad team. Bad defense though. They have a good offense. They're better than Ohio.

#6 for Mizzou will be a ****ing handful for our CB's to handle.

IF, big time if, Brohm can take these bums bowling he's gonna be gone inside 4 years. which'd suck, but it means we won games so hey. if he proves to be good I think he's more an NFL guy than spend 20 years at a big program kinda guy though.

If he can take the Purdue program to a bowl have the Colts give him a call.
