I saw this on another forum.
Ok...so in drivers ed what do they teach you about this sign?
"I hope you have a moon roof because your going to need to watch for suicide cattle jumping from the cliffs above for the next five miles"
...and the cow jumped over the moon...
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.
"A player who makes a team great is more valuable than a great player. Losing yourself in the group, for the good of the group, thatís teamwork."
When they were building Circle Centre, for a time they didn't allow pedestrian traffic on the north side of Washington St. To inform us, there was a yellow diamond sign with a pedestrian walking on it and one of those circles with a slash through it. The only problem was, the top bolt holding the sign had fallen out and the sign had rotated upside down.
It made it appear that the sign was saying "No walking on your heads".
What a tough town.
Off highway 446 near Lake Monroe outside of Bloomington, there is a minor street called "Cemetery Road"
There is (or used to be, 15 years ago) a post with 2 signs on it:
"If you ever crawl inside an old hollow log and go to sleep, and while you're in there some guys come and seal up both ends and then put it on a truck and take it to another city, boy, I don't know what to tell you." - Jack Handy
