This is the symbol used to indicate Mark Monteith, as some us feel that his coverage of the Pacers is/was soft, like a bunny. The pancake comes from a picture that Btown has.

However recently we have had to stop using this bunny as it was upsetting to some fans of Monteith.

Hey, I like Monteith, and I love the .

And, for the record, I hate Kravitz so much, I think is insulting to badgers.

    Btown, where's the other picture?
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

Man, I made ONE COMMENT about how I thought the bunny thing was a bit unfair and overplayed (months ago). I had a bad day and found it annoying at the time, but generally I don't care, I don't know Mark and have no opinion one way or another.

Now suddenly everytime somebody posts the damn bunny there has to be a comment about not upsetting the Montieth "fans."

Honestly, other than me that one day, has anybody ever really given you guys a hard time about it? I mean, I don't think anyone cares at this point honestly.

Yeah, I don't think anyone else has complained.

(I think those that post the articles actually just forgot about the bunny thing. I mean, since when do we worry about upsetting people around here?)

Ummm, not to be unbearably thick here, but I think I can see how the bunny equals Montieth's soft coverage - but how does the pancake fit into this?

I don't even know where to begin asking about the badger doing some sort of dance.

The history goes further back than that; I remember back in the very start of PD, on probably the Random Thoughts II thread, I posted that pic after a series of nonsensical posts.

And the image was around at least a while before that on other forums.

Hey let me get in line as well

I also said it was somewhat overdone and insulting, after all none of us is to ashamed to ask him questions, we post hist articles and if he answers in private we post that as well.

Doesn't mean you cant use the bunny, why not?

So, the pancake bunny is just a random thing meant to represent a lack of comprehension about another post, right? Then it kind of just came to ALSO represent Montieth b/c he's soft on the Pacers. But then some people didn't like that, but they really didn't mind? So now its OK to use the pancake rabbit for Montieth even though some people might mind (but they really don't) - and you can also use the pancake bunny (either icon or photo) to represent confusion and no one will mind, right?

And the dancing badger that represents Kravitz....?

    Maybe I'm sorry I asked....

The bunny appears to different people in different ways and in different appearances.
