    Question 2005/2006 Schedule

Excuse my ignorance! But thought this would be the best place to get a quick answer to my question! When will the fixture for next season get released??

This is of particular interest to me this year more than any, as I will be in the States for 7 weeks in Nov & Dec this year and want to organise which games I will hopefully be able to attend. Also, what is ticket availability like at Conseco? Will I need to book in advance or should I be able to get tickets relatively close to the time?

    Thanks for your help!

I think it is usually released sometime in August but don't quote me on that.

Well, I think that the schedules are usually released late July or early August, I could be wrong, though.

As for ticket availability you can usually get tickets on game night. There are always scalpers out there, but they will most of the time rip you off. For most games you can get tickets from the box office.

But, when the big name, popular teams come if you plan to buy either from Ticketmaster or the box office at Conseco, I would try to get them earlier. Or you will face the wrath of the scalpers. But, not all scalpers are bad.........................

Yeah, I'm also looking forward to seeing next years schedule.

I'm planning on coming down for a bit to see a game at Conseco! I can't wait.

It was early August last year, wasn't it? I am thinking that it was, which probably means that it wasn't.

Thanks for the help! Guess I'll have to keep my eyes peeled in a month or so. Must say I'm very disapointed Reggie chose to hang up the boots... I'm gonna miss seeing him by ONE season!!

Usually it is relased at the very end of July, but this year with the new CBA and other things going on I would expect it a week or two later.

I hope I will be able to go the game where they retire his number. I start college next fall and hopefully I'll be able to make it.

It will be very interesting to see what game they retire Reggie's jersey and when they announce it.

If they really wanted to milk it they could put together some mini ticket packages where if you want to see Reggie's jersey retired, then you have to buy a game package. In fact they should hold back all individual ticket sales for that game and make people buy a ten game package if they want to see Reggie's jersey retired.

Maybe rabidpacersfan can get right on this

My best guess is they will pick a Friday or Saturday night after the allstar break night against a weak very opponent.

I have a feeling that the Reggie retirement game will be against the Clippers. Since L.A's his home town, and they are also usually a hard ticket to sell, makes it good to do that.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."
